@@theyaosterVERY REGRETTABLE THAT THEY COULD NOT ENJOY THE WONDERFUL THINGS OF PUERTO RICO AND MY ISLAND. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE NOT THE BEST. I AM EXORT YOU TO GIVE MY ISLAND ANOTHER OPPORTUNITY THAT THE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE AND WITH A GOOD ITINERARY TO VISIT PLACES AND THEIR GASTRONOMY. MY APOLOGIES
@theyaoster The best season for full enjoyment in Puerto Rico is from December to April. That is avoiding the hurricane, tiphon season which is from June to November.
It is a sad that you had bad weather on your visit to my beautiful island. Hopefully, You guys can return in the future, but please consider seeking the help and advice of a local. The selection of Vieques as first destination was a waste of time and money. It's a beautiful destination that, with good planning, can be done in just one day, with all the benefits of seeing the treasures that the island of Vieques has. If you consider returning in the future, let us know and we can gladly help coordinate so that You can make the most of every minute and every dollar invested, but most important is that you'll have the best experience of your lives... I assure you!!! Thank's for visiting us; I hope you return!!!!
In Mosquito bay there is bioluminiscent water. Our seafood salad is not ceviche. We cook the sea food and we make a sause made of garlic, onion, olive, vinegar, olive oil, pepper corn, bay leaves... But is not ceviche. We have our own style of cooking. Our own culture. Another thing, you come to Puerto Rico, not to Mexico. Don't get confuse. It not the same. For last... You didn't go to puertorican restaurat... What puertorican food you try? 🤔 Puertorican food IT'S NOT BURRITOS AND TACOS... PLEASE. Learn about our wide food and ask for it. P.D. Chickens all aroud was a stupid plan to make Puerto Rico looks "Exotic or wild". That was not the real thing. The chickens lives in the country side, not in the city. Well, at leat at the end you ate some puertorican food.
thanks for the info! I know we're ignorant tourists, but we did try mofongo and fried red snapper, which to my knowledge are puerto rican staples. I wouldn't dare conflate burritos and tacos with your cuisine, I promise! and yes we did go to Mosquito bay for the tour (totally forgot to mention that)
thanks for the tip! we will definitely avoid that time. this trip happened back in february so we avoided hurricane season but still couldn't avoid the clouds 😅
Why did you pick Vieques there's nothing happening. You missed out puerto rico is beautiful all the beaches, restaurants ,landscape. Mountains. Ppl. You got to go again. I don't think you plan this right. Don't you have any puerto rican friends. Get some. Lol
