Ostuni-Gallipoli-Monopoli-Polignano a Mare-Fasano-Lecce-Brindisi is my favourite triangle in puglia. Beautiful beaches, great food and drinks all provided by people that know how to live very close to heaven, while still connected to their home soil.
@@JneTom on the outscirts of Ostuni. If you do not have a car I would stay in Bari or Brindisi and use the trains from there. What you would not want is walking miles with your luggage alongside a crowded italian road. There is no Uber available in the campagna anywhere even though most every family owns a car and has at least one unemployed youth hanging around.
Beautiful video about an Italian region that I know very well and I like so much. As an Italian I appreciate very much your efforts to pronounce correctly the italian words and I must say that you manage to do it very well! Bravissima!!
There are more places that are worth visiting in this region, that I mentioned in my blog post, so make sure to take a look here: www.worldwanderista.com/category/europe/italy/puglia/ I'd say at least a week!
Thank you for this wonderful video. I shall be staying in Monopoli in July and will definitely be visiting Alberobello, Polignano and hopefully Matera and Bari roo. May i please ask something though? Why did you pronounce Padova (la chiesa di Sant' Antonio di Padova) as PadOva? I thought it was pronounced PAdova.?? Thank you once more. I can't wait to visit beautiful Puglia
Grazzi mille. We are preparing a trip to Puglia and your video is very helpful. At 7:18 you say the name of a part of Alberobello "Riona Aio Picolo" but I don't see that on the map... Or is it a different spelling (it's hard to understand clearly the name when you say it) ???
Visited in match and had the best time of my life all thanks to the guide a friend recommended.puglis travel guide by monica b.lutes. It's a must have for anyone intending visiting puglia.
