From Penang to Kota Bharu to Pulau Perhentian, a beautiful island in Malaysia which awaits us with beautiful clear blue waters. Yes, we arrived at the paradise until we find out something. Some Malay person comes to us and tells us that is not safe to go with the camera, and there have been several assaults to tourists in the recent months.
So this travel vlog or review of Malaysia (however you want to call it) is going to be shorter than usual.

I dont agree with the man.it perfectly safe to shot a video in the island.what a pitty.

Hello adria. I've been to the Perhentian islands 11 times since 2003. And I always took photos and videos whenever I was there, even in the village area. So rest assured that it should be fine to take videos. Maybe the guy who warned you that it was dangerous, was implying to safeguard your camera so that it doesn't get stolen.

Beautiful! Besides, you are having a very active honeymoon. Most couples I know didn't even get out of the room for days! :)

hahaha yes we love moving and seeing things, we are not that kind of guys who travel to a place just to stay on the beach

I was there with my girlfirend this summer and it is perfectly fine and safe ! Besides that it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen !

i think what is the man said about is,if you want to shot about the village or the community, it is not ok. not all people like or comfortable about it. but i think it's ok if you want to shot around the resort/hotel or the sea. but not the people in the community.

I saw many videos coming from the island. Don't think what the man told you is true. Have to be vigilant is true in any place when you are travelling. If not safe then how the many videos about perhentian island on youtube come out. I don't understand.

You most vist to bohey dulang island in sabah or sapi island......and pulau besar in johor

Hello, I didn't have any intention. We actually enjoyed some of the best days of our travel in those islands so I can really recommend to go there. I just explained what people told us and why I couldn't unfortunately record so much. But I loved Malaysia, I loved those islands and I will definitely come back in the future :)
