We finally dig the forgotten Vw Bus out from the NH stream. The rusty old split window Bus moves for the first time in decades! This buried old car has been sitting over 50 years in the woods.
You got 1 of them. You could always spend the night in the abandoned farm house, if you had to. It didn't look at all haunted. Beetle juice beetle juice beetle juice.
I was thinking ten minutes to the end, his luck is about to run out ! - the rain and wind will arrive and ten steps backwards ….. and it happened !. Well done Jason, you’ll get ‘em ! ……
It’s nearly there. Got to admire your determination. Winch on the front of the tow vehicle might be handy. The 15 window will be easier, you’ll have learnt a lot getting the first bus out
Glad to see you build a simple sled. The wheel chocks worked great. Watch the weather forecast closely. It looks to be very difficult to work there when wet. Since the bus has large holes in the floor it might need to be wrapped when on the trailer, so that you won’t spill small parts everywhere.
I would weld up a frame 3 feet wide or more with 4 pneumatic tires that bolts up to the frame horns for situations like this. It would come in handy many times over.
Well Jason that was well planned and executed and great engineering as well sorry you ended up with a muddy mess again I think you have the patience of a saint really well done I look forward to the next part I was cheering you on best regards Andy Allen.
I was hoping! I was cheering! I was YELLING! I was so glad when that Bus started moving. Your ingenuity paid off. I really wish I was closer. I'd love to help in this adventure. Ignore the "Why askers!" Keep doing what you're doing. It's all going to be worth it. I'm amazed at how good the nose of that blue Bus looks. Can't wait for the next video. Take care of yourself.
My cat Jazz and I have a whole new respect for you. My goodness, I thought this bus was there for good. I might mention that when they're ready to raise the Titanic, they should just call you. Incredible job my friend!
It is ready to load says Jason. Well it was but you didn't count on the water under the truck. Seriously though you ARE heading in the right direction. I would fill in some of that track with dry soil if possible, that would make a BIG difference. Yes I know it is easy for me to say I am not there after all but I am giving you 100% support Jason. Take care and stay safe. 👍👍
The spirits didn't want you to give up so they gave you one good day so you still had hope, ok, he's coming back, let it rain. You're doing good, almost got it. Maybe a real truck with off road tires might help in that muddy mess.
You are doing remarkabley well. I'm just willing that blue kombi to move for you. Doing it and filming it above and beyond . I wish I was there tp help you. You deserve a medal.
So I need some help here understanding WHY this is worth saving. I get that its obviously an early bus, with the small taillights & all, but nothing I'm seeing says uber-rare, valuable, etc.
Thank you , well there is a good 6 hours of night time work ( serious struggle ) that didn’t get filmed due to darkness …let’s just say the bad spirit must of been on vaca for this day lol
