I realized, as I watched, that I had big grin on my face, enjoying them enjoying the Buick. The LeSabre is so classy - "Wouldn't you really rather have a Buick?" I note the absence of one family member on this ride.
The look of glee she displayed, driving her ride for the first time in several years - priceless!!! Heck yeah I wanna see more on the LeSabre; she is a excellent candidate for some refreshing updates. Just a wonderful and personal ride in a beautiful car with wonderful folks - doesn't get any better than that!
It sure is a good feeling owning and driving a car that you remember good times in from your youth. I have an old 53 chevy truck I'm fixing up. My grandpa had one on his farm we used to feed cattle in. Good memories 🙂
Your wife and mine are gear heads, that smile makes me so happy. When my wife drives the first car she ever owned, a 1970 corvette, they both smiles the same way. My dad rebuilt the 350 engine for her to show how much he loved her for her appreciation of the smaller things in life. She would junk yard with me, helped me flip 6 1970-1974 BMW 2002's, and 3 2000-2005 Silverado"s. Us gearhead guys, are lucky to have women that love us and our careers.
Oh my, that brings back some memories!! My grandfather bought a 2 door ‘63 LeSabre, from the factory it had a 410 Wildcat engine, he special ordered it that way. That was back in the day when strange combinations happened on Mondays and Fridays.😉
I had a 64 LeSabre when I was 20 years old. Just like the one you have-even the same color as yours. I loved that car. I drove it for about six years. Brings back a lot of memories.
It's cool your wife likes old cars. Mine does too but we don't have any right now. Great video it's nice to see your wife in the video once in a while. I see her peeking at you in the background in some of the last few.
Morning Brent!! Nice video of you and the misses, cherish these moments, they can change in a heartbeat...I noticed the green 1940's Chevrolet cab & chassis, looks like a nice restorable truck...be safe!! God Bless!!
I've been watching your channel for quite some time and I have to say it was a pleasure to finally get to see Mrs. Brent. She seems like a wonderful woman and what's really cool is she likes old cars. Thank you so much for making your videos.
60's Buick's, Olds & Pontiac's have such nice styling. Comfortable ride & roomy. My dream car to build is a 1966 Olds Toronado. I can relate to Esther's Love for that big old car. Ty for taking us along.
My Dad had a 64 LeSabre wagon in Ohio back in the 60,s because we had 6 kids and he was a Buick man all his life. Great cars. I learned how to drive in it in ‘72. Thanks for the video
Awesome! That's a great car. Love your wife's cameo appearance, awesome work as always. My Mom had a '71, blue with blue interior and my grandparents had a Le Sabre, theirs was a '64 too.
My wife didn't like to drive anything bigger than a postage stamp, which was really frustrating, so to see youre wife happy drive that lovely old Buick really made me smile.
It's nice to finally see an old 60s era buick featured in a barn find start up. Buick used heavy chrome plated pot metal grills while chevy used thin aliminum grills. in that era What a sweet ride. Thanks for posting
What a sweet looking ride! I was born in the 60s yet never recall seeing this model Buick. One interesting thing from back then, mom and dad both had LeSabres. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍
I love those old land yachts! My dad had a '71 La Sabre. It was a great old car. He pulled a camper with it and kept it for years. I loved highway trips with it. Huge bench seats and an even bigger trunk. When I was a kid there was still lots of highways with no speed limits and those old Buicks would run 100mph all day.
Great to see you and your wife out driving around having fun. That old LeSabre looks really nice for surviving our winters. Well worth some work to make her look better. Look forward to seeing more on this one. Be safe and stay well.
When you pulled that one out it reminded me of a couple of 1962 Pontiacs I had when I was in my high school and early 20s years. The bodies are remarkably similar. Those are still good-looking cars. I will enjoy watching those videos when they come up. Always something interesting. A+++
My husband absolutely loves these old Buicks. He had a '65 Le Sabre he drove for a long time. I think he'd love any Buick from the 60's! Thank you for sharing.
..hi Brent...Esther looked great driving the Buick, and her backstory was nice.....I had forgotten just how much sheet metal those Buicks shared with the 64 Chevys......
My Dad had one it was loaded with every option, the one option he loved to brag about were ditch lights, when ever you used the signal lights the ditch lights would come on.. thanks for sharing.
Nice seeing y'all driving together! Great story and beautiful car . There is a two door like this sitting in a junkyard I go to in Kentucky all stock still has the emblems no rust sad to see them waste away ..great video
The car from my childhood that I am fond of is a 1956 Dodge Royal Lancer. It had a 315 motor, push button transmission, dealer added AC. Power steering and brakes. I think I remember three colors. black red and white. My Dad and older brother were always working on it. Later, I helped, but mostly with the 65 Buick and the 73 Electra. And a 65 Olds Cutlass F85. Fun for me. We had an analyzer and a timing light. We did all our own tune-ups, exhaust work, starters, alternators, water pumps, steering linkages, shocks. we farmed out the alignments and ball joints. Dad was an engineer. He could have afforded to farm all of it out.
Beautiful car, your wife looks like she adores her car. Have she ever helped you build a project together? You guys should, that would be a great video.
@@HalfassKustomsTheOtherHalf is there a video? I've watched all the videos on both channels haha. There is a alot to learn, you're a really good teacher.
Nice boats ! Lol. I had a 1959 Buick LaSabre 2 door w/ 445 c.I. In high school , wonderbar radio and auto dimming headlights body was mint ! I love driving it !
I had a 62 one time, it had a 410 wildcat with a 2 speed power glide. I think it got about 10 mpg. I gave it to my brother and he drove it back to Mississippi from NC.
Yeah that's nice car. Don't take much to fix it up and then run. I was young. My buddies father used to let us drive his 68 Buick Wildcat. That was quite the car. Move forward to seeing more on this car. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Man, what a beautiful car. I cant believe how much washing it instantly changed the color. I love that red. That interior is super clean as well, I love the early-mid 60s interiors. The styling is so cool. - Jamie
My Dad's 64 LeSabre was light blue inside and out with the white top and the little all aluminum v8, great car that I still miss, thank for the memories.
Very nice Buick, lots of class ! Thanks for showing us how to torq a flex plate! I didn't know that you have to oil standard wrenches, I only oil ratchets, must be a Canadian thing A.
