Y'all don't know this woman but I just so happened to grow up right down the street from her and her husband who was the long time penticostle preacher of the local church. I'm not personally a member or ever have been a member but have attended more than once. And I assure you of any man in any pulpit in the world would be hard pressed to be more real unapologetically on fire for God and actually living what she is speaking. She is truly a special and set apart for a very specific time and place in Alexandria LA. I used to bring her home grown tomatoes and cucumbers every summer week and she was always the same truly concerned for all around her. God bless the Manguns family for the souls won and lives saved and changed for the puporse and glory of God.

I went to her church back in the eighty's .We were outside in the parking lot .She came out the door and the closer she got to the van I could feel the presence of God stronger and stronger the closer she came.She is a women of prayer .I have never ever felt that before or since.

My comment was misinterpreted. I love the conviction of the Spirit of God. Human condemnation will produce nothing in us, but someone who is walking with Jesus? “Let the righteous smite me and it will be a kindness unto me!” Sister Mangun has such authority.

I am running with this revelatory message. I see why Jesus saved me to scare hell out of God’s children that Satan lied to not to believe that Jesus loved them unconditionally, because JESUS CHRIST paid so much for us to be able to walk in freedom wherever we go. Cornerstone Truth Of God - Context is essential to understanding. You can take any line out of context out of any book and believe it to be true. But you would be wrong. 1 Timothy 2:12 is a correction to the church of Ephesus which Timothy was pastoring. The women were usurping the roles of men so much that they were talking over them during service and blitzing the pulpit and taking the authority from whatever man was present. Paul needed to make a correction to restore balance. But at the end of Romans in chapter 16 you can see that there are plenty of women being commended for their work in building the kingdom. Context is important. Sis Vesta was invited to the pulpit. She didn't barge in. She delivered an anointed message which was clearly God given. The Apostle Paul was an egalitarian, and by that belief so must we.
