Alaga Alaga no they mean Blythe dolls 😅 I have a few Blythe dolls, and Pulip doll. They are similar but not the same. Blythe dolls have changeable eye chips by pulling the back string. You can also customise to where you can fully shut their eyes as well with another pull string. Blythes have large heads compared to their bodies and some blythes are pretty expensive. My bubble boom Blythe cost me £116 when I got her. You also got small and medium sized blythes. Their eyes however are not changeable like the standard Blythe. I recommend doing some research on them yourself, they are pretty cool dolls.
Well I believe that actually that would be that Pullip is the competitor to Blythe, because I believe Blythe is much bigger or more popular and have also been around longer.. but in the end they are really different dolls in many ways .

I actually wanted to get into that show and start watching it because there are several voice actors who are in Miraculous that have also been on that show.
When i was young i always wanted a pullip, but seeing all those decadent collectible dolls made me stumble upon Bj Dolls! they're the most perfect dolls i've ever seen..
DUDE PULLIP DOLLS? IF YOU MAKE MORE OF THESE I AM GOING TO FREAKING BINGE ALL OF THEM HOLY CRAP- You can also get these dolls sometimes at Tuesday Morning for WAYYYYY less. I got a DAL doll for only 40 dollars- a 2008 one, yes, but still a TOP QUALITY DOLL! (in case anyone was wondering, it's Magical Pink-Chan)
Omg I'm so glad you brought this up! Thank you so much for watching, first and foremost 🥺secondly, I was originally gonna mention Dal being sold at Tuesday Morning!! I remember seeing them there around 2017?? I just wasn't sure if I should since I didn't have one in hand lol but Magical Pink-Chan is GORGEOUS, what an amazing find!!
@@Clawdeena9 Aw, yw! I got her back in spring of 2019, but since then, there haven't been any in stock in my area. My best advice is to check stores around the holidays; that's whenever they're most likely to have them in stock.
This has nothing to do with the dolls but I would like to point out that your makeup is so flawless and pretty 😭❤️ And I would love to see u make tutorials based on dolls makeup 😭❤️ur so talented
I only have one due to size and my room being o refilled with MH, eah, mlp, shoppies, and Zelfs X,D would loveeee to get more! Btw, I NEED your squirrel cosplay! You look darling in it!!!!
That is just a lil bit ICONIC, luv! Which Pullip that you own is your favorite?! This is the first time I've ever owned a Pullip, and I didn't know much about them prior to this video, so I figured I'd make a more "educational" video surrounding them lol.
clawdeena9 I own Miku Hatsune, Kaito, Len, Luna, Merl, Rei ayanami and Jaldet she is like a goth mermaid. I always loved the anime aesthetic they have💖 My fav is Miku
Ohhhh I love your look also thanks for you community post I followed myfroggystuff and I love her before I thought doll collecters was mainly older white women due to stereotypes. I am ashamed of that now and am happy that youtube opened my eyes and shows anyone can be into any hobby. Race, ethnicity, religion don't stop people from liking what they like. What I want people to get from reading my post is to not be close-minded and to question yourself on what you think is the norm and to listen to others and not to jump to conclusions. I myself still fall into the pit of close-mindedness but I educate myself and improve. Sorry for my jumbled mess love your video 😃😃😃
i love pullips so much! i own two dolls that i've had for years but looking at some of the most recent releases really makes me want to get back into them 😭
@@mimiloppp aw heck, then i recommend the pullip style website. you can usually get some for quite a bit less than retail, with only a few defects (example: box is dinged up, an accessory is messed up but easily fixable. etc.)
Dolls have always been my hobby (hopefully someday my career) and I have to say how refreshing it is to see someone do them justice! Your video was great!
I think my favorite would have to be Poison Girl dolls, but there are so many great customizers out there! They inspired me to start making my own as well, Moonfairydolls ~ I’m so happy you reviewed Pullip, thank you! And your cosplays were on point ✨
My biggest problem with Pullips (if you are looking to get one) is that the clothing falls apart and breaks, and the hair tangles very easily if you're not extremely careful with it. I had a doll that I wanted for years, and when I finally got and unboxed her her hand snapped off and part of her boot literally disintegrated and broke in half. If you are looking to buy one I recommend getting one with short, straight hair and not too crazy of an outfit for starters. And if you do some research on customizing it can be great to buy used/cheap dolls on eBay and then buy the wig and clothes off Etsy, because the quality is much better. The price of new dolls is pretty much just because of their head sculp. You can buy an Obitsu on eBay for $20, but a Pullip head for $60. So sometimes buying your dolls in pieces can be much cheaper in the long run, if you're ok customizing.
OMG the black butler ones! If I still bought dolls I would totally blow all my money on one of those! 💕Nice videos💕 Thanks for featuring my friend's Twitter in the Karen kills monster high video, that was a huge deal 💖
My old dolls were made in Japan and I was so confused why it's a Korea now. I remember that brand was always changing but I didn't know that countries were changed too.. Looked up all information and learned a lot about brand. Thank you!
Their Sailor Pluto has been my Holy Grail of dolls for years, as all the colors are basically perfect (which seems to be hard for Pluto dolls since if they do get her hair and eyes right, they tend to whitewash her and vice versa) and I adore the character. Finally caved after 4 years of her being released and am about to get her!
Kumiho legit means “nine tailed fox” in Korean Who is also the Korean version of the Kitsune and Huli-jin Nine tail foxes in Korea are know as heart and liver eaters (they transform into beautiful women to later eat the heart or liver of young boys)
Awesome informative video. I've known these dolls since 2012 and because of their price I never gave them a chance. Now I understand why they are so looked after... Only one month to get a doll is very demanding. Reminds me.of AKB48 if you don't buy the album you can't buy the ticket to the concert.
It's not like they're availlable for only a month. They last as long the stock lasts, that could be a year for example. It's just that their new releases are once a month
Im only 16 and ive wanted one (the mel pullip) since i was 9 !! But idk how to economize for it... i love this video it is very helpful for any pullip lover 💜
Try going to Tuesday Morning, if you're in the US. It's very infrequent, but they sometimes have dolls in stock for under 50 dollars. Try it during the holidays, and maybe go to several locations. You can also find out the item code, and call locations to see if they have any in stock.
Where are you Clawdeena?! I’ve been so worried the past two months but I don’t have your number to check on you! I keep annoying other people from the Benefit trip to see if they know if you’re okay. If you need anyone to talk to I’m always here, please reach out!
Ah... I used to collect them about 10 years ago, now they are all stored away somewhere haven't seen them in years! Maybe I should find them again, they are really pretty. I have 1 Dal and 8 Pullips
I personally don’t use fabric softener, as it seemed ineffective (and too smelly). You can use conditioners and sprays meant for synthetic hair (like wigs/synthetic extensions). Also, thank you for the heat warning! Their hair doesn’t hold up well to extreme heat, so you must be VERY careful.
I love my Miku Pullip. I´m just a huge Miku weeb and I would love to own any Vocaloid doll but that is not gonna happen. The only downside to Pullip is they can break easy. And I find it hard to style their hair in ponytails like Miku has. I kinda had to sew her ponytails in place. Which I have to do with every doll with that hair type
Thank you!! They sent me these dolls back in March for review, but specifically for me to cosplay as the dolls - so I knew I had to look SNATCHED for miss Pullip herself! lmao
What should I do with my pulip doll that I got when I was young and completely destroyed her wig and lost her outfit. Are there any customizers I can send her to?
I saw a second hand shop selling one of the first Pullip's filthy-cheap, IN BOX, and didn't purchase it bc I had no cash at the time. I never forgot that mistake. Europe and their second-hand shops, the smaller, the less the owner knows about the items usually, and I get PRICELESS stuff like that, including dolls. Think about this, the doll was priced at roughly 20 dllrs, in-box. IN, BOX!!
I own 1 pullip that I customized myself, 2 taeyang characters from black butler grell and teacher Sebastian and dal Ciel in his girl outfit. I've had my pullip for around 4 or 5 years maybe more and grell for around 4 a well. The other 2 for roughly a year maybe 2. Plan on buying more mio pullip kits.
Has anyone ordered the pullip bases? I was thinking of ordering one to customise for a fun project during lockdown but I wanted to see what people had to say first
