My wife has a small less than 1 cm nodule found on a CT scan. She had lung cancer but has been cancer free for 3 years. They believe it is nothing to be concerned about but rec a CT scan in 2 months. PET scan was negative. Would a low dose CT scan be effective enough? They are checking to see if it grows.
My 2 original lung nodual has grown, and last month found several new small noduals….it has been a year from hell….surgery for noduals melanoma,, deep and wide, it was infected and bleeding….
I was diagnosed with 7 Nodules. 2 on my first scan and 3 on my second scan. 2 @5mm, 1@7mm, 2 @ 3mm. My Pulmonary doctor refused to give me info about them and told me not to ask about them any more and it was only my second appointment with her. So I'm letting it go and let it be what it is. I'm done. No more test with this lady.
I finally got another scan this year after 3 years of waiting. Now they found 2 nodules on my Thyroid gland. They said the ones on my lungs are no change but now they are monitoring the new ones on my Thyroid gland. I think this is redicolous.
@@Stella20450 I honestly don't know. I often wonder about that myself. I had another scan this year already and there is no change in them. She's making sure they don't turn into Cancerous cells.
