Sir I've completed MD gen med wanting to pursue DM, Will there be any extra advantage of doing DM pulmo post MD gen Medicine when compared to MD Pulmo. Would i still need to do extra fellowship for interventions or that be enough?

what is the scope of pulmonologist in Dubai?

Pulmonology department are getting merged in General medicine in many medical colleges as NMC has removed respiratory medicine from ug curriculum. No new medical college has vacancy for md pulmonary medicine. Even AIIMS is not accepting md pulmonary medicine candidate as faculty. They only want DM pulmonary medicine people. Indian chest society has filed a case in high court in Nagpur regards this. Be wary of taking pulmonary branch as opportunities are getting lesser and lesser in medical colleges.

Sir, I'm Pakistani doctor, I can't afford training due to family commitments. Is there any diploma or any online diploma or fellowship in pulmonary medicine and I will do some workshops and continue to studies ahead with professional development always. Would you like to guide me. I'm family physician and MRCP trainee but I haven't passed MRCP exams

Don't take MD respiratory medicine. I know seniors personally who have taken the branch and now regretting badly.
