My scope arrived today. I managed to get it working and figured the rangefinder out. Took a while to figure things out given the manual that came with it doesn't explain much. Do you know if they have an online manual with more info in it?

@@MrRockstar1968 yes mate go onto pulsar website and download the manual for your scope Its easier to print if off and then yuo can try things whilst reading it

@@TriggerTime3644 I've notice the Laser Range Finder on the Pulsar N450 is quite sensitive to objects in close proximity of it's trajectory path. I have been sat 16 feet (5 meters) using the scope mounted on a tripod and testing the focus and the LRF at different distances of rooftops and trees out through the window. My window is about 10 feet wide with a few plants on the windowsill. I have noticed every now and then when I attempt to get a reeding for the distance of a rooftop it reeds (5 meters) which is the distance of my windowsill rather than reading the correct distance of the rooftop which is about 28 meters or so. Therefore despite not been able to see a plant in the line of sight, I assume the laser is somehow picking up the plant that is set to the side of it. I have also noticed that the red highlighted square used for the LRF is set to the right of the crosshair and that the LRF illuminated white flash is set to the left side of the crosshair. Think I need to clear the windowsill of plants to see if it makes a difference. It will also help if i can find a way to align the red LRF box and the white flash with each other.

Rugged and light-weight magnesium alloy housing is designed to withstand recoils of high caliber rifles Hope this answers you buddy

@@TriggerTime3644 I know, I think I've been unlucky with mine. Worked great for 9 months then started having issues. Tried everything, in the end went back to Pulsar. Used my Zeiss scope during that time, no issues. Got Digisight back, worked good as new for 6 months, the started same poi problem again. Lost all confidence in mine, and put Zeiss Duralyt back on while I decide what to do with the Digisight. Feeling pretty pissed with it right now....

@@TriggerTime3644 I'm still working out how to use this scope and getting my head around it. After having zeroed the scope, where it allows to add additional distances in the profiles, when you type in an additional distance, does it then automatically a just the reticle to the additional distances based on the initial zero point. Or do you literally need to set up targets at selected distances and then manually set the zero to each additional target distance?
@TriggerTime3644
@TriggerTime3644 3 года назад
When you have zeroed and then put another distance in you have to rezero for that distance buddy I put a metal go g up and then kept going back from it to change the distances
@MrRockstar1968
@MrRockstar1968 3 года назад
@@TriggerTime3644 Thanks for the info. I thought this scope had a ballistics setting page which would then calculate the other distances for you based on the zero setting. Starting to dislike this scope. I'm wondering if I put the ballistic settings into and ballistics app such as Strelok Ballistic Calculator, would it then be possible to take the calculated trajectory and distance and put them into the scope. Though I think I'm maybe expecting too much.

What are you shooting You can do it off strelok but then you should still check poi wat different ranges You can use strolok and then use hold overs with the first focal plane reticles

Any ideas what this Pulsar is like versus the Pard nv008??
@TriggerTime3644
@TriggerTime3644 3 года назад
The pard 008 is ok but i personally think the pulsar is miles better I was out foxing with my mate and the mist decended on us he couldn't see past 30 yds with the 008 because of the glare off the ir I could see out to 150tds with no ir what so ever 008 is better in daylighr Dont really know what battery life is like on the 008 but its great on the pulsar

Is it possible to adjust the LRF to align with the centre of the crosshair?
@TriggerTime3644

It has a small amount of adjustment on the ir Ive shot foxes out past 200 yards with ease I found if you put the centre of the beam on your cross hairs you will get a lit of white out

@@TriggerTime3644 I'm still deciding between the Pulsar N450 LRF and the Pard NV008 LRF. Don't suppose you've tried the Pard for comparison? Did you have any lagging issues with the Pulsar?

@TriggerTime3644 4 года назад
My mate has had the pard nv008 lrf and he got rid of it . I wasnt impressed with it what so ever Id say your better off spending a bit more and go for the pulsar Ive had the digex and i think this n450 lrf is a lot better than that
@MrRockstar1968
@MrRockstar1968 4 года назад
@@TriggerTime3644 yeah I agree the Pulsar N450 LRF is better than the Digex. I've also been checking the new ATN X-Sight 4K pro 5-20x day&night which you can now also get an ATN - ABL 1000 or 1500 Laser Range Finder to attach to it and it looks an awesome piece of kit. The ATN scope continuously automatically adjusts to the ballistic settings of your amo and the laser range finder etc, so there's no need for any hold over. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FuNXrgIIhn0.html
