It's not that bad. I would have done it with a cutting disc personally. And depending on whether or not the screw holes + screw posts provide rigidity, I may have kept them. But I also don't go for maximum weight reduction. He is entirely right about the traces (or lack thereof) though. For ultimate peace of mind, one could check that all the traces remain functional afterwards, but it doesn't look like more than a 2 layer PCB anyway, and there would be no reason for it.
Thanks a lot, with this mode without the bottom inner side cutting, and ordered a 3,1gr weight 150mah battery and a rounded glass feet, I reduced mine to 44.9gr without any flex !

Hi sir i love your work on cutting weight from mouse. Im a fingertip user with large hand. Do you think chopping the backside of mouse completely, a good idea? What do you think a good mouse to work in doing that cause i really dont care about the backside of my mouse. I never touch it anyway, i even fingertip my g502.

@@magnus6683 gwolves presence in my country is almost 0 and even then the price is ridiculous. I already got the ninjutso sora, its great but after trying it i might be more suitable with a wide ergo mouse. waiting for the lamzu thorn or the next pulsar xlite.
hi, i felt this with a nimble mouse from steelseries & wanna try something super reversible with nothing to loose....to fill up the hand slightly: add Aero-tape (no pun intended) legit just across sides and back half of the mouse then wrap that in 1 or 2 layer electrical tape that glossy kind to consolidate things. Write here if you like it afterwards XD * i could justify adding such comfort mods after changing to long skates left+right side along entire mouse vs top/bottom so more of the base is already missing on mine *
