Taking two of the best PS5 headsets and comparing them head to head and giving you my opinion on which one is better!
I’ve used the Pulse 3D for over two years, and decided to give the Sony Inzone H9 a look. Have you used either of this headphones? Which features do you enjoy?

Really liked the video, I feel like everything important was touched and I definitely walked away better informed after it. I especially appreciate how calm, well structured and straight to the point it was presented, a welcome change to most youtube videos. Good job. You made me reevaluate getting the H9 btw, kinda thought I don't need noise cancelation and grab the H7, but you saying it actually does make a difference even in a quite environment... Man, decisions, decisions... 😅

I came across your channel today and subscribed immediately. Very good content. Keep up the good work mate. I’ll buy Camo designed Pulse 3D for my son, it is brilliant. Also I don’t play multiplayer games and don’t care about mic. I care more 3D sound which is stunning in games such as miles morales Spider-Man game. If I need mic, I can use my EPOS H6 Pro headset:) only thing I wonder is the durability. Some headphones is torn apart in a very short time. Warm greetings from rainy Glasgow😁😁

The gaps on each side are for the PS VR but more specifically the VR2, if I recall correctly.

You've earned yourself a sub due to a concise vid...One question (as i have the pulse) if i were to get the H9 (without dongle via ebay) will the same dongle from the pulse work? (the pulse is incredible uncomfortable after an hour or so due to the stupid 45 degree angled plastic in the speakers digging into my ears) I can get a H9 without dongle for £20 at the moment, so if you could let me know that would be great!

The dongle is different the H9 has a switch between PC mode and PS5 mode. Did you say the H9 is £20 without the dongle? That seems a steal, and worth a go? could you source an H9 dongle from elsewhere?

Doesn't the H9 have real leather ear cups? Thought that and the noise cancelling were there only difference between the H7 and H9.

I think a lot of these headsets although sound good, they don’t spend a lot on the production of the mic, to keep costs down. I’ve tried the Astro a50, I think overall they are better, however the game/chat on the headset doesn’t work for the ps5 nor the equaliser unless you purchase an audio splitter, and your talking an additional £100+ to get a decent one.

Best wired sound quality headsets with phenomenal mic quality goes to the Sennheiser PC38X and epos H6 Pro. Best wireless headset sound quality with phenomenal mic quality goes to the audeze Maxwell. Astro A50 is outgunned in every category 🤭

Haven’t played siege but, for directional awareness definitely H9, you can hear footsteps on both headsets, but H9 is clear even without the EQ

Does the H9 automatically switch the audio output as reliably at the pulse3d? At launch, my H9 were a nuisance cause I had to go into the audio settings and switch the output back to the TV manually after I turned them off. the pulse3d worked perfectly switching to the headphones when they were turned on, and back to the sound system when they were turned off.

I have the same problem with the Razer Kaira Pro for PS5, and wanna know if that doesnt happen with the H9 before i change to that headset. I had the pulse and the auto switch was great!

I found the sound quality too similar to the pulse on the h9. Which isn’t a bad thing, I personally think the pulse is a great value and probably better than anything 3rd party up to $200. The killer feature for me was noise canceling. I was amazed at how much background noise I was getting when going back to the pulse 3d. Fridge hum, fans, dishwasher, cars driving.. I was hearing it all. The pulse 3d literally feels like a open back headphone. H9 you’re in your own little world. Personally if you don’t need noise canceling and play in a quiet environment, save your money and stick with pulse 3d. Sound a uality is very similar. Market value wise I wouldn’t recommend the H3 or H7 at all, pulse is better.

Pulse 3D are great, as I said in the video if it’s just sound you want improved the H9 are not worth the price tag. But NC is a great feature, also my pulse 3D battery life is starting to flag and having 32 hours on the H9 is a big win!

I noticed a huge difference in sound quality between the two headphones. H9 is far superior. At their loudest, playing GOW 2018, Kratos' pride of the frost combo sounds much louder and fuller on the H9 even with the equalizer at max settings on the Pulse 3D. It just makes the H9 feel much more immersive, and that's not even accounting for ANC.

Superb comparison. I have the pulse 3d camo version and find it very nice to ware and think the sound is perfectly setup . I don't game online talking so those mic features don't matter to me. I was surprised as a lot of reviews are not very positive about the 3d.

@RespawnRoss Aw, man. So close to perfection. Literally the only thing that is preventing me from buying it besides the fact that it also isn't collapsable. 😔 PS Platinum Headset really is so good. I think I'll just have to look into how to replace the ear cuffs, if it's even possible.

On my experience, there is no contest, H9 has much better sound overall, specially bass. Also, you can change the ear pads… I changed mine, got a pair of wicked cushions with cooling gel.

Steel series are also very good! But I find it has a very different sound frequency than the H9, personal preference is the more bass. Can you try them both out and return one?

I have the h9 and the leather pad on top of the headset came out after 3 months and they don’t cover under warranty. I have had the SteelSeries nova pro for over 1 and 1/2 and still looks new I won’t buy another inzone product.

It’s a very good monitor, I only use it on ps5, so where games support 120hz it looks fantastic. It was between the Samsung and the LG27GP950 (the LG was slightly more expensive) both perform well, but the LG has slightly better HDR support.

Inzone h9 I loved but unfortunately don't fit well with the psvr2, where as the pulse 3d fits like a glove but sadly is much worse overall headset but I have no choice but to use it. Not bad overall just not great

The H9's fit over my head with the psvr2 just fine. I understand everyone's head shape and size is different. But I just had to adjust the headset and they fit perfectly.

I paid £180 for a h9 , a month later the leather started coming away from the plastic headband. The audio quality is good but build quality isn't great, it feels cheaply made. Sent it back and bought a nova pro wireless. Don't regret it in the slightest!

Nova pro also very good! I just wasn’t a massive fan of the sound, felt like I needed more base. Also the game/chat balance couldn’t be used on ps5
