Hi, what I did for my pulse explore was +5, +5, +2, +2, +2. It worked really well for me, since it really boosted the bass and low freq to a nice level, without muffling, and also when I tried the settings from the vid, it seems that the pulse explore are quite different, since when you put mids and higs at 4 or 5 the voices between gameplays become really unpleasant when the character talks louder, kinda pitchy. We’re waiting for the new vid on Pulse Explore EQ, but just thought I would share my settings 😃👍

The noise reduction doesnt work too well if people are talking in the same room. People in my party can hear all the chatter going on. Not sure if it just mine or if this can tested as well?

Just tested the 3D audio EQ on Banishers and it sounds way better now. The drivers are good but they messed up the EQ heavily. Thankfully we have you doing gods work!

I can’t say for sure (didn’t do a test) when I first started using the Elite it kept disconnecting (as mentioned by other users). I couldn’t find a fix but (my room is around 75F not too hot not too cold) I started having a fan to help cool the PS5 and my disconnect problems are gone (my thoughts were because I put the dongle on the back then it gets too hot and lose connection). never tested it again but I don’t have disconnect issues anymore

How do you determine EQ parameters? Do you use any measuring devices or do you just set the values by ear according to your own feelings?

I used the frequency response results that gadgetrytech channel tested and showed on his video as a reference than calibrated them based on the RAW game output (for that I have devices) and combined them to get a better sound profile, however, I'm waiting for Rtings. com tests and will provide a new video based on their test too.

Hi, are you using Pulse Elite? imo it's very good, the directions in mid to close range are more accurate, however, if you feel better with stereo, use that, as I tested it in the past and now, it has improved and directions of bullet locations are better with 3D Audio on.

@Rayyan_8910 I asked around, you can only use it with a 3.5mm cable to your controller. The cable is not included tho. Usb is just for charging.

Hi, I mainly tested it in MW3 multiplayer, in Warzone it's very similar but it may sound different as the maps and objects work differently, I'd make a video specifically for Warzone soon.

In some situations it depends, If there is nothing going on near you it’s kinda clear but in hectic situations it is very hard to fel from where. And also the audio from below and above is also hard to figure out

Same here! The pulse elite can connect to the ps5 and mobile phone simultaneously, what I noticed is when the headset is connected to both my ps5 and phone at the same time everything working fine. But when I don't connect my phone, here's when it starts disconnecting every 30min-1hr

You're the third person telling me that, I'm not sure what the issue could be, mine didn't disconnect even once, and I played over 8 hours multiple times on PC and PS5. have you tried the front USB port?

@@DanielZH yeah I've tried everything. Sometimes it can go for hours without disconnecting sometimes it's pretty quick it's completely random. Must be a faulty unit. I was hoping an update could fix it but sony hasn't said anything

@@DougieJonesFBI I can confirm it's fine on PC with no issues, and Pulse Explore had similar issues on PS5, probably be fixed with an update, but I'll try to use it more with PS5 and see if that happens to me too.

Hi, linear PCM. in 99% of the cases there will be no difference though.

Yes, you can try this: 0 0 0 -1 -3 and that'll probably work fine for most cases.

@@DanielZH By the way, do you know the exact frequency each of the bands address? I'm not having succes finding it, though I did find them for Sony's wireless (non-gaming) earbuds. Those also use a 5-band EQ but it goes from 6,3K to 16K (high & treble) and would have a hard time mitigating some of the Elite's quirks :/

@DanielZH yeah they both look like good games but plagued with visual and performance issues. Similar to what we saw in Jedi survivor,when it comes to things like blurriness and artifacting. Both games look like the framerates will not be good as well.

if you're considering older videos, they've changed the way 3D Audio works after a few updates, + depends on the surface, but it's mostly in Bass frequencies.

I tested it with 3D Audio, for the second issue, lower High and treble frequencies to a point where they don't bother you.

Hi, Pulse Explore has a much better driver to start with, everything I showed here needs a bit of change, lower Bass by 1dB, and keep treble on natural position (+3 of what is shown here) and you'd probably get a nice output, I'll cover that one in a new video soon.

If you change output to voice chat, then hdmi device to av amplifier you can change channel to 7.1 and then switch output back to all audio. Have you tryed this? You should do a video on it please

I've had two issues on mine, the common disconnecting, and the mic would glitch out if i mute and unmute a few times. It would completely go dead and only a ps5 restart would fix it

Thanks for mentioning, I haven't tested the mic recently to mute unmute but will test that too, did you notice a high pitch noise sometimes when you pause games or nothing is playing? that's also another software problem.

@DanielZH yeah when there is no noise playing the headset makes high pitched noises. I tested them on the psvr wired and it seems like it auto turns off every hour or so

The headset sounds quieter on PS5 (just like Pulse 3D) Based on a few tests I made, so they applied a preamp to lower the max volume already I believe, that's why this won't cause an issue in most cases up to 70-80%, but I'll test it on 100% volume to see how it works.

You do not need that (no difference in 99% of the cases) instead use 3D Audio if the game sounds well with that.

The first one (V1.2) works well for most cases, the case I showed different one for other games were in the case of Footsteps, Dolby Atmos, etc., for FC24 you can use the first one and 3D Audio sounds good too!

For everyone having audio issues or disconnecting issues, I have been having problems for a month until I bought a usb c adapter, plugged it into the front of your ps5 and it should work. The usb c adapter is very cheap so you don’t have to worry about spending so much, hope this helps.

For which headset? I recommend a bit lower or higher for that based on the test I made recently. Pulse Elite is a bit too sharp in some high frequencies.

Hi, depending on the game settings, yes, it can be too high, from every new update these EQ adjustments change for some reason, keep Bass lower if you feel it's high, currently using -3 in OW2 in 3D Audio mode.
