So proud of you dude!!! Tackling that book was a gargantuan task and you never stopped grinding to the end. You lit up the entire arena on finals night, BEAST MODE STATUS!!!
Couldn’t have asked for a better age out Ian! thank you for trusting me and writing the most impossible things that are pushing the activity, you’re an absolute godsend!
Been waiting for this cam for awhile. Jaw-droppingly clean but it’s to be expected with pulse. However I do think the music you played in this show is the most unique compared to all previous shows you have played before. I think this show is a capstone to your career of indoor Drumline. You have always been such an inspiration to me as a drummer and you really motivated me to push myself past my limits. I hope in the future that you will continue to create amazing music and never stop innovating and pushing the boundaries. Thank you Artem 🙏.
This mean so much to me!! thank you for such kind words, I’m glad I could be an inspiration to the next generation. You gotta thank Ian for the awesome set parts and the freedom he allowed me to have over everything !
Wow, i've been playing kit for 10 years, can’t even imagine laying down some of the stuff you’re playing. Extremly impressive, I hope to get to this level of playing ability some day.
Hey dude. First off, killer drumming!! I’ve rewatched this show multiple times and still get a kick out of it every time. I’m really into progressive rock and metal, so this kind of stuff is really cool to watch! Quick question though, one of your cymbal stacks (The one with the Zildjian A custom etc crash) is a sound that I would like to incorporate into my own kit, what cymbals do you have combined for that stack?
Pretty much 90% of the parts are written by the amazing Ian Grom, and I mostly change voicings around drums/cymbals. Sometimes parts get entirely changed, added or removed, it’s a process through out the whole season!
i was really excited when i saw that you dropped this vid cause i really look up to you and your drumming. seeing your drumming inspires me a ton. what kind of sticks do you use? they look a bit thicker than the 5bs but im not sure if its just the camera
