Puma All Pro Nitro - Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde - In Depth Performance Review + Puma Hoops History Lesson 

for those who are doubting about buying these shoes, i just bought one pair of these pumas nitro all pro. i can tell; this shoes are the best shoes ive ever worn in my entire life.

I have 3 of the shoes mentioned for some time so I feel my opinion may add to this. Clyde all-pro - is a brilliant shoe but it does take time to break in due to the carbon matrixevo knot. All-pro nitro- the translucent outsole are the best and the cushion is far more forgiving than the original all-pro. TRC blaze court- is the best budget shoe and is a low key great performer. It is not as comfortable, but the traction is really good in all conditions. I was lucky enough to spot the issues mentioned from the earlier batches and fixed it.

Great review and the history lesson. Keep up the good work! As a fellow old man I enjoy puma’s hoop shoes a lot. Own two pairs of Clyde All Pro, Stewie 1 with translucent outsole and Stewie 2 Earth colorway. All meet my expectations and perform well.

At first i thought the all pro nitro solid sole is a trash, cant even break normally on it because its very slippery but after a few games it gets better and better. So just give it more time

i bought mine last week. i'd say yes, it is indeed like an ice skate because it picks up a lot of dust, i mean A LOT. but when you wipe it down it all goes away. is puma all pro nitro recommended, HELL TO THE MUTHAFUCKIN' YES. just wipe it down then you can ball out again.

The rj barretts are nice im about to cop. The out soles are said to provide more traction

Thanks for the trip back in time showing the evolution of the brand. I was able to get the Stewie 2's on super sale and they are very comfortable. Also have the MB.01 and are great too. What do you think of these 2 models? Too bad on the solid outsole for All Pro Nitro's as these have some dope colors; Gremlins and Clyde's Closet as examples.

Awesome breakdown and review. I really like what Puma has been doing lately with their hoop sneakers. Even just for casual wear.. they have been absolutely great. Comfort has been so plush, for me especially with the Court TRC. Just wondering, how roomy is the toe box area of the Nitro Plus compared to the TRC? The TRC I feel gives me plenty of toe room to wiggle and expand. I'm worried that the toe area on the Nitro plus might make my toes feel jammed in or compressed and narrow.. what do you say?

I have exact same experience w/the MB2 solid rubber collecting dust immediately then being skates. It's too bad cause I love the fit of that shoe! Then bought the new All Pro Nitro scoot color w/translucent rubber and it's excellent traction

How about the Puma MB line?

I have two pairs with regular soles. They slide on the dusty court.. In addition to the Scoots, there are two more colors with a transparent sole. But I doubt that they will have grip at the Scoot level. Do you only have Scoots with clear soles?

i have them with the white outsole and i dont have any traction issues. The shoe is great to all categories.

I have a TRC Blaze Court shoes, Should I choose the same size for the All Pro Nitro as well??

It's not really _out of nowhere,_ Puma has long had great translucent outsoles, and they usually have better grip than their solid rubber outsoles. Pretty much the entire LaMelo Ball shoe line suffers from this problem, as well.

Have you tried the Lebron 21? Do you think the All Pro Nitro has better cushioning than those or about the same?

The fact that the MB.02 Lows only came in one general release colorway (the stupid one with the cereal/donut on the tongue) is a complete joke

The Clyde all pro is one my GOAT basketball shoe ! they should have keep the same and just add a bit of nitro foam...

The rubber in the middle of the forefoot of my TRC was completely broken(outdoor), and I haven’t bought any Puma sneakers since. Is AllPro Nitro worth trying again?
