I grab this shoe on most days now. Replacing my ghost max. It's so comfortable, a little fun and I barely notice the weight becauae it just feels so good and legs are protected.

i bought a pair after your first review. Amazing shoe - i have never really found a shoe before that lives up to the recovery tag - they all flatter to deceive for me - i always feel better in my normal daily trainers . Not so with Mad Max - its a great daily trainer but also when i want - a great recovery shoe - But in addition i have found that when doing my medium pace runs my pace at a given perceived effort - my pace has been comparable with lighter options such as the Asics Noosa's. They operate a bit like a 4 x4 once you get through the gears the crusing speed is quite good. Not that i use them for workouts - i agree with you - they are too heavy/ clunky for that. Amazing shoe - my two favourite training shoes are Puma right now - I love the forever run as well - very cheap now - i have 2 pairs and will buy a third for winter base. NB i have not tried the Puma fast shoes yet Deviate Nitro + Elite racing version- seems like i should

I was going to ask the same as I'm not happy at all with Glideride Max. What I'd also like to know is what was the longest run you did in them and did the midsole remain consistent throughout or did it start to harden or flatten out?

I was a big fan of the Glideride 3, but now I’m doubting about buying the MagMax or the Glideride Max, as they seem to be very similar…
