This costume is freaking awesome, well done! I have a pretty cool pumpkin mask and I want to attempt a costume like this. I know mine won't come out as sweet as yours did but I'm going to give it a shot! It seems like a perfect costume to crouch down in a planted area with a bunch of pumpkins and then stand up and scare the crap out of people. 😁
7 months late, but i think my thoughts should still be displayed. To be honest im at a loss of words! It seems like you really took your time to think it out and design before you jumped into it, and it seems beautifully executed. The over exaggerated proportions of the arched back and the huge hands really give it that feel of something that has been mutated. I also thought it was really interesting how the structure of the creature has both human skeleton elements and elements of a overgrown pumpkin patch. I think if you had wanted you could come up with a really cool and interesting back story to a magnificent costume like this. Im not sure if you intended or not, but when you move around it creates these awkward, almost painful sounds that kinda sound like tree limbs breaking and swaying and it brings so much character and it really draws in that spooky and creepy feel you would expect from a horror movie, and in the dark hearing those sounds would be so ominous. i wish i would have gotten the opportunity to awe at this thing in person. Amazing job man.

Thanks so much! The pumpkin head was one of those plastic foam pumpkins you can get from the craft store. The ones you can carve. I cut out the bottom and face to use as a mask.
