This is the bonus Pune metro VLog for May’2018. Its 14th vlog in the series of metro vlogs that I am sharing to spread awareness about the ongoing metro work progress in Pune.
In this Vlog, we'll look at Latest Pune Metro rail project work progress on Vanaz ramwadi Line. In this vlog we have visited the Karve road, Vanaz end, Riverside metro work and Metro Sahyog Kendra at Kothrud.
Bhagyesh has volunteered & helped me create this vlog and I appreciate his help with this.

Any update on Hinjewadi - Shivaji metro ?

Need to know when Hadapsar would be part of Metro project. It is one of the biggest part of Pune.

Vivek Lawrence no confirmations on additional routes yet, but Hadapsar certainly is one of top priority areas demanding better transit. I am sure it’ll be on priority for the next phase.

Dude, we can suggest many things through you, after going to sahyog kendra, make a video where you can accept suggestions, and can forward it to Pune metro team. And if one of the suggestions is insanely SAVAGE then they might even like it.

Thanks Yogesh for keeping your promise and thank to Bhagyesh for volunteering for this vlog. This vlog gave good view of progress on line 2. I am sure you can provide another update after a month or so and hope to see viaduct erected and extended for greater length.

Yogi what about extention from Swargate to Katraj? I heard that they are going to make underground metro there, is it good for that area?

The Indian It'll be amazing if that happens. But I think nothing is confirmed on the extension yet ! But it's for sure the line will be extended till Katraj in near future !

YogiLogic other infrastructural aspects can be those like the Ring road, several bridges(I say bridges bcoz there are many bridges which are newly constructed but have a pathetic construction quality), the to-be-developed riverfront(which will promote tourism and can be an added source of income for the municipal body), some important bottlenecks of the city, etc. I hope that your vlog vedios go viral and the corporation takes some serious measures to solve such problems.

Sarthak Shewale Tenders have been floated for the Civil Court -Ramwadi Section & the contractor will be finalised by a months time. We can expect the work to start by July-August

Tenders have already been received and are being evaluated at the fastest possible pace. You will see the work on ground by the end of June for sure.

Thanks for the latest metro update, always appreciate your efforts. Being a resident of the Hinjewadi side of Pune, I am really eager to see the metro updates for the PMRDA line i.e the Hinjewadi line. As far as from my side of research I have come to know that PMRDA line is going to face delays due to land acquisition issues. Can you please share your next vlog on the updates and progress of Hinjewadi line ? Though I can tell you that the Hinjewadi road extension is completed and at least it would be a good sign if the work gets started now.

debabrata.podder Hinjawadi metro has a lot of hurdles for sure but still some background work is progressing. I ‘ll share a vlog very soon. And yes, the latest road widening in Hinjawadi has provided some respite !
