Hinjawadi IT Park, developed under the STPI Government scheme in the 90s, now hosts 139 companies and 217,412 employees. Despite its growth over 25 years, the park faces significant issues such as narrow roads, water and electricity shortages, and poor garbage management. These problems have prompted companies to relocate within the state or to other states. Over the past decade, 37 companies have moved out of Hinjawadi.
