It is really very wonderful to see so many Long Distance trains cutting across my Good old and beautiful place Londa Railway Junction station over the years since during my childhood days, during the 1940s till 1957 when there used to be only metre gauage trains hauled by Steam Loco Engines. The Engines were mostly YC series for Mail and Express trains and YD for Goods trains. There used to be only about 11 to 12 bogies and it would take about an hours journey between Belgaum to Londa. During those days there was no Electricity in this place but only kerosene Petromax lamps. But this place can be appreciated with it's lovely lush green forests.
I am watching from south caribbean of trinidad home of brian lara i am indian orgin my ancestor came from india during british time we have indian population in our country we celebrated the same festivals of india we have biggest hanuman murti in the western hemi sphere i love your video
I am a big fan of all your train videos. Especially since you mention the IST time at each sfage. Very useful for tourists. Thank you. But, i think Poorna Express runs on all days both from Pune end and Ernakulam end. Secondly, the departure time from Pune is 11 pm. You have rightly focused on the scenes in daytime from 6.30 am at Belgam to 6.30 pm at Udupi. Glorious videography and editing. Hats off!
Poorna express only runs once a week, although another train running between Pune and Ernakulam runs separately two days a week and uses the same rakes (coaches). But it runs on a different route and schedule as 22150 PUNE-ERS SF Express. Route is via Pune-Panvel-Ratnagiri-Madgaon, after which same route as Poorna express.
Beautifull coverage of Poorna Express fantastic journey of Pune Ernakulam Poorna Express I really like so much this journey great coverage of Brazanda Ghats & Tunnels I like Dush Sagar waterfalls in castle Rock & kulem for ghats 😊😊 beautiful crossings Dush Sagar waterfalls of Goa border I liked this waterfalls and passing so many tunnels of ghat section I enjoying tunnels of this ghats great coverage great soundings of Wdp4d locomotive nice sounds I really enjoyed this journey nice capture of rivers & mountains nice vedio
i saw this video and went from Mumbai to Pune via Vande bharat to get the poorna express at 10.25pm on saturday , it was delayed by over 5 hours and started only at 4Am .Had to stay in 3rd class costly dormitory at pune along with my kids . When the train arrived at Castlerock , everyone started gathering and crowding at door for ddudhsagar view , it was great to see the waterfall which lasted only few seconds . The delayed train reached at margao 4 hrs late and all our plans were spoiled . What i learnt was never make connecting train booking which was in different locations or cities , if poorna express was starting from mumbai and was delayed i could have slept in peace or even cancelled by ticket .
Brother..... Why didn't you show us the Rani Chennamma express which was to supposed to arrive at Londa junction as we can hear clearly the announcement. Being railfans we want to see crossing trains.
Nice Blog !!! The following should be completion schedule * Tinaghat Castle Rock Doubling @ Dec 23 Castle Rock Kulem Electrification @ Dec 23 Kulem Sanvardem Doubling @ Dec 23
I love to watch all your train videos, get good relaxation I can say. Well I sometimes don't press the like button as I watch them on tv. Just if you want to share, how do you record it? GoPro with a head band or iPhone pro?
Nice compilation of the journey..Was there loco change at Mangaluru Jn? I thought this train would get electric loco at Madgaon Jn itself..When was this journey taken?
Excellent Video but a very Inefficient train. It took so many reverses. IR should look to simplify the network it will improve the efficiency and speed.
Best vlog Chinmay, especially I lk ur details abt line bifurcations at junction along with the arrival n dep times frm each station n videography is just marvelous, how much km long is bregenza ghat section?
They removed old excellent diesel locomotive considering fuel cost but railways do not know even if you spare 500 - 1000INR cash saftey of passenger is formost they do not take passenger life safety into conideration what to say tommorow they may have charging trains like ev but how will railways be cost friendly its as good as take 500INR more for fuel like diesel locomotive but why for godsake provide a dangerous electric locomotive tomorrow when some real mishap happens to passengers only then railways will understand 😢
Also I'm reminded of photographing the Total Solar Eclipse on the banks of River Aganashini and the birds behaviour during that time on 16th Feb 1980. A memorable experience, Chinmay.
