November 2022 update: Roads still bad. Prefer Kagal -> Nippani -> Belgaum -> Chorla Ghat -> Goa road. Good roads, less time, simply 40-50 km more compared to Amboli ghat road.....

It's the worst road.. condition is totally bad. It takes nearly 3 hrs to reach jst khandepar in Goa from there Panaji is about 40kms

Some patches are bad but overall it is good, but not recommended at night. Also don't forget to download maps offline if you need navigation. Network connectivity is poor.

Hello brother, if we are travelling in our own vehicle (white board) to goa do we need to take/pay any kind of checkpost/border pass tax? If yes then can you please tell me how!

No one takes any tax while entering goa

From there the undivided double lane road starts. The road till Amboli Ghat is quite broken in the middle. The road is fine after Amboli Ghat.

Bhai Nippani Belgaum Chorla Ghat se Goa jao KM jyada hai, but roads ache hai, traffic kam mila to time bohot kam lagega compared to Amboli ghat road....

He asked me for my driving license and RC. After that he checked something in his mobile phone and then let me go. Most probably he checked if I have any online challan I guess

Yes there was a small section where the construction work is in progress. But traffic was through service road. No major diversion

Bhai ji, dikkat to hoti hai, Police rokegi to jaroor puchegi ki kab se yahan gadi chala rahe ho, toll receipt dikhao etc. Lekin us samay kya karna hai wo shyad aapko malum hoga 😜
