All rights go to Netflix,Marvel and Disney all fighting skills and marksman of Frank Castle aka Punisher took from the series “the Punisher” Season 1 #Punisher #FrankCastle #MarvelNetflix HD
I love how Frank's fighting style, while of course based on martial arts, is primarily pure raging violence. He's like a force of nature, yet he often gets badly hurt, too, as his opponents are not only there to make the hero look superhuman. That's why the Punisher fights are so gruesomely realistic -- as if they weren't movie choreographies but people actually fighting for their lives, doing and using anything possible to inflict damage. I imagine the melees in WW1 trenches to have been like that, minus today's technical close combat skills of course.
Ironically, immediate escalation to gain initiative is something drilled into me in both wing chun and Army combatives in service. The Army instructors said like a mantra we are not training you to fight, or defned yourself, you are training to end the situation. half measures get your buddy killed. Every drill they would be yelling don't fight end it. our sifu wpuld often also say audacity can mean survival, act fast makes space.
I love how at 8:08 when he gets his pistol out to kill the soldier, he aims below his vest instead of shooting directly at his vest because pistol rounds like 9x19mm or .45 ACP can’t pierce through armor. Such a nice, cool and realistic detail I’d never thought a superhero show would get right
@@kilz5752 I’m saying in most action movies and especially superhero movies that involve guns, you usually see people shooting directly at the chest plate with pistol rounds and it pierces the armor flawlessly which is extremely unrealistic, I’m saying it’s nice to see movie/TV show creators actually do their homework when it comes to guns instead of seeing characters shoot a 7.62 or .50 BMG gun one handed and hip firing it for what feels like an eternity without reloading or using a pistol with an unlimited magazine
@@Chakawatts oh absolutely. No argument there. I just think take a full clip of.45 ACP points blank to the chest would immobilize you whether or not you were wearing body armor 😂
That’s a real life army maneuver Learned it when I was 14 it’s meant to pick up wounded soldiers to carry instead of drag em by collar while in mid battle
@@dreydonstanford8376 I learned this technique in the army too, I'm not a marine, but I served in the army in 2022, there we call this technique "firefighter", and used to transport wounded soldiers,I really wanted to learn fighting styles like his, luckily I only learned Urutu fighting, which is a mix of muay tay and karate!, I learned a bit of bayonet fighting too!I'm from the barracks 10th jungle field artillery group in Brazil!
@@ravvoltsmusic yeah firefighters used well before army did but was more effective for soilders mid battle to either help wounded soilders or as cover like the punisher did running from gun fire. Or so I heard on a documentary
I like how frank can also just throw a rock and knock someone out LOL, just goes to show how dominant this man is no matter what weapon or equipment he has
It’s really weird to me how bad iron fist was. Daredevil and the punisher are masterpieces, and the rest are good but somehow iron fist was just awful. Strange
Sure, Iron Fist was a mediocre show in season 1 but Season 2 was actually pretty damn good. It is watchable. It's just a damn shame what happened. I was even really excited for Luke Cage season 3 before it was cancelled.
Yeah that is like Frank's superpower His pain tolerance. Sad we'll never get to see a fight between him and Captain America since Steve is an old man now :')
After years from watching this show i remembered more from first season than second one. 2nd season was such a boring stuff, could they not just pick up a good storyline from comics and adapt it?
If you watch this without context, the scenes seem pretty random. More episodic then story driven. Then you'd get to the scene where he holds a knife to a kids head and be like "WTF thats pretty random why would he hold a knife on a kid"
Always love how most of franks fights he’s never at his best, his 100%. Always badly hurt but always comes through at the last second and manages to kick ass still after being brutally fucked up. Kinda like the hulk with the rage. The angrier he gets, the more power he gains.
I love how rather having controlled breathing he grunts and pants like a wild animal He's more terrifying than a trained soldier He's a very very angry trained soldier
This man was made a living weapon through war, and the only things he fought for was his family. After that’s gone, well. Now all you have is a living weapon with nothing to lose
The Punisher and Batman was always my favorite superheroes as a kid because they had no powers just gifted fighters...Im rewatching this series rn I really hope disney makes a few seasons...this shows so badass
@cory781 dude, how is he a superhero? Shooting criminals to death isn't a superpower. Batman has his intelligence, what does frank have? Oh wow guns ohhh so super ohhh
@@Georg3e so frank has no intelligence? He was special forces ...he knew more about combat than Batman ...lmao we sound like the kids in the beginning of that big pun intro song arguing about this ...bro punisher is the best then Batman 🤣
@cory781 does that mean anyone with guns is a superhero? That makes no sense dude. Frank isn't so smart he can create suits that can beat up monsters like the hulk. Yeah this fictional character is smart but not superhumanly intelligent dude. He's just a man who kills criminals with weapons designed to kill. Nothing special about that at all. Now when frank gains SUPERPOWERS then MAYBE he could be an "anti" hero
@@maniandbeano again What does blood have anything to do with making any of this realistic I have the punisher zip tied in a chair, do i kill him! No i bidé my time and torture him instead giving him time to escape Yeah Realistic
Honestly, this is what MCU John Walker before the serum should had been on paper. Instead he nerfed himself by trying to fight like Steve Rogers than fight like Frank Castle. ...And pack more firearms than just a pistol.
John Wick: What's your story? Frank Castle: I lost my family. John Wick: No kidding. I lost my dog. Frank Castle: Lets put all this killing each other behind us, and save it for the real enemies. Okay? John Wick: Agree.
I still find it funny that the goons in episode 1 picked on the guy who according to what they say slugs a sledgehammer literally all day from like 4 am to 9 pm "You're here early, you're here late , this hurts us"
Him turning Agent Orange's head into a Picasso was the term "revenge boner" to a T. Also, I had an issue with the kid from ET being Billy, but he killed that role.
10:15 é uma das cenas cinematográficas mais insanas q já vi em toda minha vida me da até um certo mal-estar em assistir ! Essa série é foda , já assisti 3 vezes por completo uma pena não ter renovação de temporada!
Jon Bernthal is definitely the right person to don the mantle of the Punisher and would kick anyone's ass who stands in his way. I hope the Punisher would fight Spider-Man in the near future for the next Spider-Man movie!!!
