It's a great day to be an Omnibus collector! Punisher MAX omnibus is here and I've been dying to get to this moment. I love this run of Punisher written by Jason Aaron and illustrated by Steve Dillon. It's as good and wholesome as the Punisher has been since Garth Ennis left a few years ago. They did it once already and it went out of print and now costs way too much. Here's hoping for a reprint. Thanks for checking out the video!

A 550 page hawkeye omnibus has been announced with a $100 price tag. Looks like the're just ditching the $75 books. It won't be long until the 800 page books go up to $125 and the 1200 page books go up to $150.

Yeah, I saw that. My problem is they already have big nice hardcovers of the Hawkeye stuff, I'd rather see something different...but I'll probably buy it anyway. Have a great day and thanks for checking out the video, it is appreciated.

Thanks for this one. Knowing its price there is no way now that I buy it, but always nice to see what's hiding in there. Hope some friend will take it, i'll lend it then haha.

I don't blame you at all. Just seeing the size of it next to other omnibus's makes it even harder to rationalize the price. I have a feeling these won't sell that great and then hopefully end up on Marvel's discount list next year. that being said, I have no remorse, just a stupid sense of greed that made me want it and want it now. Seems like great harcover. However I wish they released Garth Ennis's Punisher saga the same way in like 2 omnibus hardcovers. I probably will check out digital version of Aaron's run on the series first, 'сause this book is damn expensive

Ennis's run was great and they did do an omnibus once but it's out of print now and really expensive. This book, should've been no more than $75 but I'm a sucker and had to have it. I don't think the format matters as much long as you get to read them. Thanks for checking out my video, I really appreciate it.

Yeah, I think this is one of the more painful books I've bought because of the price. It really should've been $75 or even better $49.99, I think Marvel could've sold a lot more if they priced them this way, BUT, I have no idea how their business model works. I love amazon too! Thanks for checking it out, you know I appreciate it. (You reading Original Sin? It's one that I'm reading the issues and I'll for sure buy the hardcpver, it's good....so far)

I really liked the art in original sin but the story is a slow burn for me so far but its Jason Aaron so I know it will be good in the end

Hi! This omnibus is very thin. Can you tell something about the paper's quality? And what about the binding? (Is it sewn or only glue?). Thank you!

This omnibus is kinda thin, but the paper quality doesn't suffer. While the pages are thinner than normal unless you are holding it up to the light to see through it, the quality is fine. The binding is partially sewn with some glue for extra support. I've read this book once, and loaned it to a friend and it still sits fine, lays flat and I have yet to have a binding issue with it. Normally I'm the only person that handles my comics so the fact it's been loaned and returned in good condition should be a testament to it's durability. Super thin. I'm not too disappointed, I knew going in that it was only 23 issues, but I'm hoping for a sale eventually, then if it drops to $50 or below it'll be worth it to give as a gift. Thanks for checking out the video, I really appreciate it.

Nice video, but this book is WAY too expensive for its amount of content and ultra thin pages. I had it pre-ordered and decided to cancel. Just can't justify that.

I agree 100%. BUT, I had to have it so I could finish the story. I'm pretty sure Marvel just prints the omnibus's at the same price as the regular issues of the comic. This is the biggest instant that there were drastically fewer issues than there should've been for the price. I think it should've been $75 AT MOST. If sales are low they will most likely drop it onto one of their sale list eventually, unless they only printed a few, in which case I'll be glad I overpaid for it.
