My take on the current meta: #1: Physical #2: Lightning #3: Fire #4: Dark #5 Ice Lightning will overtake Physical after No.21 debut, warzone and paincage wise, the burst and rotational damage is nearly on par with fire if not, even higher. currently i think global meta is ice and lightning, highest scores on wz and wide coverage of ppc. also, what do you think fire team needs to beat current phys and lightning? wondering bcs fire prob gonna be the weakest element again once we get gen 2 ice and dark attacker
fire and lighting are the best ones, they are the only complete gen 2 teams (lighting with future 21). i dont know how did you come to the conclusion that physical is the best when it is forced to use pepega liv and outdated clunky rosetta

Lorewise Lee Hyperreal is at the top 2 of the food chain while in gameplay his at top 1 as the fire god element construct. Still broken ASF even though he was nerfed.

I also play PGR recently because of WW trailer video, the battle gameplay here is insane, the characters' designs are awesome, and it's very F2P friendly (we can literally have all limited characters (omns) 100% if we complete all daily, weekly, and event quests on every patch!). It's unfortunate that there are less content creators to promote this game.

Now Im hyped on Lamia, new character, so I must wait 1.2 year to get her? I lost interest as quickly as I found out about this delay.
Currently in Global I would rank teams like this 1. Ice: Plume/Glory/Wanshi or Amplifier, The best team for almost all content, especially ppc 2. Dark: Luna/Teneb/Selena, this team is super good and fluid in Warzone as well as paincage, even works on ex ppc Shark and easy to use for General Content as well 3. Lightning: Vera/Veritas (Soon gonna be Tempest)/Lux or 3S Amplifier Even tho it's great in ppc, the off ele potential in ppc is kinda low. Even tho Vera is the best off ele tank, the team itself is not better than Ice and Dark in my Opinion 4. Physical: Alpha/Rosetta/Eclipse or Amplifier And Nier Yeah the crit rng still exists in Global and it sucks, Nier is strong but only in warzone. After Warzone rework, A2 does not feel that strong in off ele 5. Fire: We do have Sola, but most people don't have Pulse so it's still kind of copium, it won't shine properly until Remote Star patch which is soon 6. Transcendent have no proper team just put different ele construct together when you need xD
Switching Veritas for Tempest? That's bold. Won't she get a negative dmg for each construct on the team? Wasn't it like -30%? Unless it doesn't matter, since Vera can be main DPS anyway. And a support. And amplifier. You know I need another alter of Vera so I can have my full Vera team.
@@terry5183 switching veritas for tempest works only if your selena is SSS and has sig,coz she has bigger aoe and no orb rng like veritas. However if you're already a SS veritas haver with sig, and even sig reso ed its not recommended. As u said vera carries lightning till alpha alter anyways

@Archx Akuma If you don't have Lucia Plume, forget Ice team, you can either get her from selector next patch or wait for Ayla who is better dps than plume For Entropy best team rn would be him/Rosetta/Amplifier As for lightning, if you don't have Vera Garnet and Veritas don't bother for now
i personally suspect shes probably going to be the next to get replaced just because shes the only really old character left after 21 replaces liv lux but shell still be meta for quite some time at least on global

Kinda sad that Kuro seems to only release 2 males character now for each year, like what happened last year where we only got Noan & Hyperreal as the only playable male character and the rest are female... There's also some fans that shielded Kuro saying that they release female character because of the story, even though they can make unimportant character like Pulao & Hanying... Some fans also say that with the less release of male character comes the quality in their character design, animation, and skill, but i don't see any different in treatment between male & female characters here, even the old character before Hyperreal like Empyrea is on par with him in terms of its skill animation and almost have the same kind of dmg... There's still more male character that deserves the chance to get their new S rank omn, like Kamui, the only S rank from the basic S rank that didn't get any new S rank, or Watanabe which is the most anticipated by the fans to get his deserved S rank omn... It's pathetic, truly... I love PGR because this game have a balanced character between male & female back then, but now it seems like they're just a normal gacha games where they think that females can sell better than males... About global meta, here is my list, of course everybody has another opinion 1. Ice ( Plume, Hypnos/3S Cappricio, Glory ) Plume nuke still broken AF, Glory still do some good amount of damage 2. Lighning (Veritas, Garnet, Lux) Veritas core + Garnet flagpole is broken too, when core is get the last shot, or rather fifth shot, Garnet nuke.... well..... just obliterate everything 3. Dark (Luna, 21, Cappricio) Fast and agile, burst damage is really good between Cappricio and Luna, 21 is Da Vinci Carrier 4. Fire (Empyrea, Pulse, Ember) SS Empyrea is really good when dealing damage and CC, but ember damage not too good, neither not bad (average maybe?) 5. Physical (Alpha, Rosetta, Eclipse/Lumi) Main Source of damage come from Alpha, when it comes to CC, Physical team is not really good, Alpha sword waves mainly targeted at linear P.S. : I didn't have 3S Nier team, so i didn't know where to put them :v
this video made me think of the comeing ice dps and dark dps couze it will be hard to replace Luna and Plume couze oh boy those 2 are a power house but i would love to have some characters that dont get much love take theyre place like Sophia or Chongyu or Kamui best boy
the transcendent one is definitely not meta though, its just the only synergetic tc team. even with Hanying qu is bad and pu lao is mediocre. the best tc team was and is roland/camu/selena
@@fussia2568 Practicality makes the a character meta. Why tf would you think hyperreal is meta? Its not just dmg, he is a literal braindead construct where almost all of his corepassives have auto dodge features Braindead and QoL features = DMG increase
Guys i just started playing PGR now I'm confused if i should summon for lighting Lucia or Bianca alter I also have Garnet and Rosetta so I'm confused which team should I go for first
You will need both teams eventually to be combetitive in phantom pain cage and warzone so just pick whichever one you wanna go for. Lighting lucia is an A rank btw, pretty good with leap but vera carries anyway.

I love pgr with its combat and every character skills and attacks and there unique gimmicks but i wish we could reduce the skill effects i cant see clearly 😭😭😭
Current meta in global to thise moment: #1 Lighting : Vera garnet - Bianca veritas - Liv lux #2 Dark : Selena caprricio - Luna - kamui tenebrion #3 Ice : Lucia plume - Chrome Glory - Wanshi #4 Physical : NieR team #5 Fire : Liv empyria - Nanami pulse - Karenina ember After 12-14 patches, most teams will be complete with upcoming meta characters in the global version
id say ice is close to the top atm in global, i think lightning is better but its harder to play because of orb canceling with garnet feels awful. fire is still waiting for remote star tbh, liv is not an onfield carry and ember isnt cracked. physical in weird spot because alpha is not amazing for war zone, and is rng with her orbs to get core passive off when you need it to go off, and luminance is strictly worse than b liv at same rank until the lumi buff.
All the new S rank omn starting from Nanami Starfarer have a passive in their SS form to cast the other member qte when they using their core passive/signature move, like how Luna's core passive works...
If you want to follow the meta: - Karenina SS + signature weapon as a qte slave with 4 Da Vinci 2 Einsteina - Karenina SS3 + signature weapon + CUB as a sub dps for dark team - Karenina SSS3 + signature weapon + CUB as the main dps for dark team, dethroning Luna into the 2nd dps My suggestion is, just skip her if you don't focus on meta, her build is kinda pricey for f2p for her to be more useful than Tenebrion SS...

Really up to you. All of the meta teams in PGR will have some characters getting replaced. For example, Ayla replaces Wanshi as ice healer/buffer, Alpha and No. 21 replace Bianca and Liv Lux respectively, etc. Besides, all of these teams are pretty close in terms of DPS, only exception being transcendent (Don’t invest in transcendent unless you plan on whaling for sss+ on all characters). So take a look at the new characters being released (I recommend channels like Rexlent or Blanc who feature and play new S ranks) and go for which one looks most appealing.

Nanamech/Nanami: Starfarer (current event banner). meta Tank for fire team. Great shredder with her 6* weapon. Can be your main DPS for now while waiting for Hyperreal in December. Liv: Empyrea (S-Rank) for fire amplifier/healer completes the fire team. Try to get her on the rerun banner but with 70/30 rate. If you can get this patch’s free S Selector, you can choose Lucia: Plume. Then try getting Wanshi (A-Rank) on the standard banner. Chrome: Glory (S-Rank) completes the ice team and this team is considered the strongest team before the newer meta units of other elements came out. In september, the new S-rank Bianca frame (physical DPS) will be released. Pull for her. Then there will be another free S selector for weapon and character. Rosetta and her weapon is a good choice here if u still dont have them by this time. Liv: Luminance will complete the physical team. Lightning…get Vera: Flare. She is a lightning tank and can sometimes out DPS Bianca: Veritas. I am not sure if it is still advisable to go for Veritas but if you can, then go. SS Vera: Flare for more DPS and qol. Live: Lux completes the lightning team (for global). Buy the monthly or event packs. Calculate the one with best value. Total tickets/Rainbow cards. 25 is a good value. Higher is better. The packs reset every patch so you can save more when it is a “no-pull” patch 😊. I love this game. Hope you will enjoy it as well.

@@Jimmy-mb7eqYou need all of them if you want to be competitive in the meta. However, as of now, physical, lightning and fire are tied for the strongest teams, since there is no new DPS for ice and dark so you’re stuck with Plume and Luna.
As someone who doesn't care about top scores or anything, can I use hanying instead of Luminance in Physical team? Like will it work at least decently?
Of course you can! for sure she's design for those one who don't get luminance and if you won't compare she with those origin S character, she will perform great damage but needs good technique.
Omns are constructs (Though this doesn't make sense since both ARE constructs hence the change) and Uns are transcendents, In game transcendents (Uns) are better on their own without needing a team to support them in comparison to constructs (Omns), But during most cases uns get a debuff, So prioritize getting omns before uns.

unless ur kamui is SS,karen is always better but if u got base kamui rn,u should not pull for karen since she needs to be at least SS3 and have her sig wp to be better than Kamui SS

The only ones you need to worry abt if you built dark team is getting nanamech, liv amp and lee, All 3 are base S ranks, Ayla and liv works for physical team when bianca releases (or just get rosetta on aniv cuz they gonna give free S rank anyway) and a SSS lux and a SS chrome can support alpha. Ice team will have a free A rank attacker construct and free ice amp (ayla) so just build wanshi till then.
All amplifier is better than the first gen S rank attacker like Plume, except for Capricio that still can't beat Luna in terms of dmg... But the 2nd gen S rank attacker dmg is way better than amplifier, you can see the difference in Hyperreal & Empyrea dmg...
Because unfortunately plume is outdated in cn. Ayla is going to hard carry until we get a new s ice attacker. The only new gen amp that probably won’t out-dps their attacker is 21 unless she somehow is more cracked than Alpha. Lucia is the sub dps in ice team during Ayla’s downtime now
