I gotta laugh at this bc of several things -Deku one-upping Kacchan will always be grimly satisfying -Even without a terrible punishment game I would have no trouble believing Katsuki would take his loss horribly and fall into a hole of angst -it's Uno -And goddamn Izuku's smile at the end is so out of character in just the right way I love it
Just imagine a rumor spreading that Izuku is a god at card games so everyone ponders about it for a long time and they finally set up an Uno tournament, and the last two are Izuku and Katsuki, glaring at each other as Deku mops the floor with Katsuki, and everyone decides that playing cards is a bad idea of Deku is anywhere nearby.
The more I watch this the creepier it gets. Just, that ending. The wide eyes and little smile on Izuku that would almost be cute in any other situation but the strings around his fingers are wrapping around Bakugo's neck. Not to mention, the horror on Bakugo's face, and then the despair mixed with horror and Izuku is smiling... Creepy. Creeeepy.
We don’t know WHAT the punishment of loosing the game is, but Katsuki does, and he’s obviously shocked. IT GIVES ME CHILLS HOLY MOLY. (I love dark Deku with all my heart and soul)
All I think when I watch this vid is Villain Deku is like "Alright, listen up Bakugou, if you can beat me in a game of Uno,m I'll let everyone live." "Ha! A game of Uno? You'll lose Deku." and that...is not the case...
Uno is the monopoly of card games. Turns best friends into enemies. A will to destroy your opponent is helpful in this game. There is no mercy, only uno.
Okay so I thought this up just now, Okay so It's a Uno tournament and the last two are Deku and Kacchan, Jirou (Earphone Girl) is humming something, Uraraka asks what and Jirou plays this song as they play, and the other students pick up on it and start humming to it as well. And when the songs ends, Deku just has the same smile (the one at the end of the video) While Kacchan looks shell-shocked and the class is just as shocked at Deku's cruel smile
In BNHA smash (parody manga) there's a chapter where Deku mentions that he had a lot of time to himself (because he had no friends :( ) and got really good at games. Since it's a parody of the original series, the whole Deku and Bakugo vs all might thing was made into a challenge where they used cat's cradle to diffuse a bomb. Deku basically one upped Bakugo and taught him how to do it.
*listens to the song* *looks at the masterpiece that is this video* *looks at lyrics* are they playing Uno? **sees comments** yep. they are playing Uno. Draw 4 cards = the war initiator **grins evilly**
This is, in my opinion, one of the greatest Vocaloid songs Of All Time because it leads to such good, good things. Like this. All of Deku's faces as he turned the tables were so perfect. And that evil grin... my heart skipped a beat. Thank you for bringing me this cute, evil, perfect Deku in this lovely video.
I actually made a squeak noise when I saw it for the first time, and I’ve seen it probably over fifteen times now, my heart still jumps and my eyes widened. I now how hard it is to capture the perfect expression to get the right vibes across to the viewer, but holy moly did you nail it. *CLAPPING INTENSIFIES*
I love this because this song really hits the core of deku's and bakugo's relationship, and it's really satisfying to see bakugo's vile mug smacked off of his face by the one person he hates to see succeed the most.
Bakugou: Hurry up, its your turn Deku. Izuku: Okay, it's my turn, i draw! Bakugou: Wait, what the heck? Izuku: I tribute my face-up Lida and Ochako.. Bakugou: DF are you doing man this is not yugioh- Izuku: In order to summon my All might in attack mode, go All Might attack Bakugou with Plus ultra! Bakugou: Stop man! This is not yugioh what the hell!
you are god. I must rewatch the entire series. Tbh I didn't care much when s2 came out so I didn't watch it (cause I read the manga but dropped it) but this will make me continue. The art is bootyful
I just found this video via my recommended, and dude, it was worth it. You definitely have talent to make these kind of videos, specially with your artstyle. I'm also a HUGE fan of the producer, Kururingo, and the mix between her music and your animation was 10/10. I'm subscribing in hopes on seeing more in the future ❤️ Btw, is it possible that you were commenting on my videos...? Your profile pic feels way too familiar... Just curious~

*pulls down binoculars and looks to the camera with a bowl of popcorn and tears streaming down my face* THIS IS THE QUALITY CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT I LOOK FOR: TWO PEOPLE WHO GREATLY ADMIRE EACH OTHER AND LIVE IN HARMONIOUS MUTUAL LOVE FOR EACH OTHERS TALENTS *sob*
The Neko Gem Gurl I have friends who got so emotionally invested in a game of Uno that when someone lost they flipped the table and tried to knock the winners lights out
I read the description and I'm prepping myself for the nightmares and the never ending screaming I shall hear in the background for the rest of my pitiful mortal life.
Imagine this scenario, All might: Never fear because I'm here! Bakugo: *points at Izuku* Stupid Deku beat me at Uno! *reverts back to Toshinori* Toshinori: *puts his hand on the back of his back* Sorry kid, I can't help you with that. *thinking* (I don't even know how to play Uno.)
I am Deku and my brothers are Kacchan. working together to win... *Little do they know they made a mistake.....* Edit: AND THAT IS ALL ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL! SEE YOU IN FOUR YEARS!
The fun and fitting part about the lyrics is that it's literally just a game and the punishment is humiliation. No physical harm. No body-endangering action. Just act like a dog in front of everyone and lose your pride. Bakugo, being prideful and arrogant, loses to Midorya, who's just playing a game. Hell, if Midoriya lost, he'd probably be able to cheer up soon enough. Bakugo, not only with his innate pride, but with how he acted in the game as well, may as well be wounded by the experience.
Omg okay like I know it's them playing uno and all but this is totally applicable to their actual relationship. Bakugo and midoriya both have their own strengths right? Bakugo in the beginning is shown to be very confident that he controls the game and therefore he thinks hell win. He's so caught up in his dislike for midoriya that he's just laughing at him when he's thinking of a plan to beat bakugo. He's taunting him and he thinks that midoriya seems weak despite midoriya also trying to dish out insults. And it comes crumbling down because bakugo was his own downfall (like in the anime when they had the villian/hero exercise and was beat by midoriya because all bakugo was thinking about was beating tf out of midoriya and didn't bother to go along with the exercise) because he got too ahead of himself and was so confident that he could beat midoriya by sheer strength, thinking anything he through out would be enough to defeat him. When, in the end, izuku had been learning off of him and used bakugo's own tricks against him, thinking diligently and finding a loophole amongst allthe smugness and pride bakugo had, leaving midoriya to be the true manipulator of the game
isn't it annoying when they ask if you're gonna play, I always hated that like nooo let me think damn it😂😂😂 I loved the art so much and the little stars here and there 😍
Uno ... The game that destroys friendships. The one that turns good moral abiding citizens, former compatriots, in to scheming ruthless enemies. Bringer of chaos, curse words galore, mind numbing frustration, rage, screaming and tears. Turning every hero to darkness until only a traitor remains standing over the defeated bodies of their former loved ones, smiling viciously, grinning manically. Uno the ultimate villain mastermind.
3:18 This one creeps me out ALOT Also am I the only one who thought it would be cool if in the end he pulled the strings as in him choking bakugou or something
Me at first: this is a very intense game of uno Me at the end: omg Deku was fakeing his nervousness he was playing Bakugou the whole time I- ... I mean... His analytical and plan making skills, and his memory too, are like a computer- He probably remembers every card the two of them played, their order, how many cards that left each player, and maybe even Bakugou's reaction to each... 😅
Deku actually has 3 quirks: 1- The one that increases his intelligence to an fricking hight level and makes him win any type of game(principally UNO's) 2-The one that makes him the most adorable anime character,so cute that he killed a thousand of fangirls just for smiling 3-One for all. Some quirk that hurts him
I don't know why but I love the idea of Izuku having a quirk that changes perceptions- such as making Katsuki think he should get rid of all his cards- this was so satisfying XD
I had a thought, what if the students and teachers were supposed to play a game of Uno against each other in a game of two player Uno, and Deku and Bakugo where against each other first? And the students decided to do a punishment game, and the winners face against each other? And then everyone saw Deku's mad Uno skills and are like, "We're going to lose badly, aren't we?" And everyone gets powned by Deku in some of the most intense games of Uno in history, simply because Deku is way too smart to not find out his opponents mind set and playing style.
