I am from the south of India. All i can say about Punjab is that it's one of the best naturally endowed states with good water, hard working and enterprising people. There is no segment where a Punjabi is not there and not made a name for himself or for the state but when you visit Punjab it looks very backward except Chandigarh. I guess the reason is that they have always gone in the opposite direction of the center which proved counter productive. I also think Punjab should give an opportunity to BJP once and see how it's pans out.

Being a Punjabi and a BJP voter from Punjab. My prediction: Congress- 5-6 AAP- 3-4 BJP-2-3 SAD- 0-1 Independent(Amritpal)- 1 (100% confirm) The conclusion is that 9 seats will be divided between Congress and AAP with Congress having an upper edge and 1 seat confirmed to Amritpal (Khadoor Sahib) and the rest 3 seats will be divided between BJP and SAD. BJP is definitely going to increase its vote share by large numbers this time and are building a cadre for the 2027 Vidhan Sabha polls.
