The Pakistani officer was LT Colonel while the Indian officer was Colonel or Brigadier hence Pakistani officer saluted first. thats the mutual respect and honoring the rank regardless of which country you are from.
, Indian border on pakistan side is guarded by BSF which is a paramilitary force,it follows the rank of Indian police. While colonel or brigadier is a rank of Indian Army which is not on the border.

It would be considered a victory when our air defence system had worked properly and we would've destroyed all the fighters jets from Pakistan nevertheless not only your country's fighter jets entered in Indian Air space but also not even a single aircraft was intercepted. That was totally a matter of shame for our air force . I don't know the reason why indian air force is just equivalent to Pakistani air force and much behind than PLAAF despite of having a decent budget (not that decent actually) .
