Punk vs Du is pretty much NA grand finals at NA weeklies the matchup nowadays is about 55/45 Punk, but the 3-0 is pretty fucking insane. 3-0 over NuckleDu pretty much the other final boss of NA, thats wild, you know Punk is playing good good when he 3-0's Du.
@@not_juano Du on wakeup is just unreadable, Punk himself stated that. Akuma makes it to where he doesn't have to get up close to Cammy and potentially deal with Du swiss army knife on wake up options, look how many rounds in the latest. TNS Punk got by beating him in the mid range, and then killing his Cammy long range. There were 1 or 2 rounds where Du's Cammy just got brutalized by projectiles and couldn't close distance. Punk is the best Cammy, everyone knows that, but when you play a guy who's also extremely high level, mained the character in past games, and has played you so many times he understands all your habits, the mirror won't necessarily go in the better Cammy's favor.
I'm used to them going against each other in grand finals. But I will note two things. 1) Playing offline is completely different, and 2) I'm pretty sure this match didn't take place close to midnight like their usual grand finals are held when everyone's already burned out and tired from their day.
Was it just me but Cammy looked like she was moving a 1/2 step faster than normal…that’s those inputs that those guys are doing…wow. I’d like to see Punk vs LuiMans Sim.
