I had heard then acquired vol1 just after vol2 had released. Vol1 was like $16 and I only got it because 2 was so good and $2 new. Baffled me why 2 was so cheap. Then 3 came out for the same price, and New Redv Archives had came out with At War With Society for $0.99 new, Fat Wreck did the same, Sub Pop did the same, Hellcat did the same; a slew of cheap CDs were released, all under $5 each in the span of a couple of years. The cost alone formed my interest in Punk Rock. The speed strengthened my interest. I never could understand why folks were paying so much for their music, esp when great songwriting was being released at such a low cost.
