Love this!!! I don’t comment that often but for my honest first opinion there was some BIG miss opportunities! (Note I’m giving artistic critique and it is just my unprofessional opinion. Still I love the effort and energy put into this!) So first in the very beginning the guy with the red cardigan could of made a motion to the other to shut her up when he was walking up to her and the girl could make motions like she was talking, since in the very begging their is the lyrics of “if you don’t shut your mouth, I’m a shut it for you!”. Then at 1:33 the dancers could emphasize the lyrics “ who’s got the high ground….” by having the guy knelling making it seem like girl gained the “high ground”. Also in general at that point the movement is very subtle so if you were far away then it wouldn’t have been obvious. Also maybe have some loud stomping when there are the small jumps because to me the vibe of the song is to be LOUD and OBNOXIOUS!!! Side note a lot of the moves could have been a bit more snappier like fast and quick kind of snappy. Like I noticed for a lot of the moves near the end of the song were a bit slow energy wise like that high kick near the end, but to be fair their was a LOT of moves they probably had to memorize and IN FRONT OF A CROWD NO LESS! But I’m just pointing this out if the dancers ever see this and want to perfect their choreograph better. And lastly for the ending of the dance the two dancers should of went around and give a loud high five to other, as a way to dramatically say “we are done”. Sorry for this critique being so long, I just wanted to convey what I thought could be improved on. As an artist drawing and a bit of drama wise, I wanted to make an animation for the song “Punk Tactics” but I don’t have the time to do it because of school. So when watching this video right now as my first time and seeing how confident they are to perform this, I just want to give my best feedback without being too harshly critical.
