"Puppeteers" Creepypasta 

Thanks for the great narration of my story as always! Hope everyone likes it.

For anyone confused with the ending the moment the lady said "no please dont, im sorry" Jake was already trapped inside of her body. She made jake kill himself while inside her. The moment the Narrator knew what had happened is when he said "i met her eyes one last time" its super subtle but he doesn't say "i met his eyes". He never refer to her as jake again. He mentioned as he seen "Jakes car" drive off....etc. He attended the funeral because he knew Jake was inside of the old womans body.

This was such a good story. The ending felt so realistic, too! What else are you supposed to do in an insane and impossible scenario like that, one where you can’t even prove for sure that anything is actually wrong, except accept it? I’d be curious to know more about how it happened and what role the old woman really played, but even as-is, this story is excellent.

A creepypasta with an actual name instead of a story as a name? Impossible!!

I completely fell asleep a few minutes into this story so I'd say it was a success.

This one was good. Most are way too predictable or have an unsatisfying ending but this one dropped subtle clues that didn't click til that last line

You are by far my favorite narrator. Please start doing more posts again, you don’t seem to post as often as you used to.

Can someone explain the ending? Was It the woman who took over the kids body and therefore switched bodies then killed her old body?

This story was awesome. I love stories with twisted endings so much. Had to listen to it a few times until I “got” it! Thank you to the author for a brilliant story and to the narrator for putting the right emphasis on the right words!! Honestly loved every word.

Theory: The old woman is also a "puppet". The Puppeteer lives on through the stealing of different bodies. The old woman was once a body stolen and lived through, and when she's old and "used up", the Puppeteer seeks another one before her death. It took sometime for the Puppeteer to complete it's exchange and for Jake's soul to cease resisting, and for it to figure out where he lived etc. As to why it killed Jake... Well, it's probably an inhumane entity, it killed Jake only out of spite for the slaps... it could've just let him live on in it's previous body but didn't. Another thing is the ability to control what the other body does: this ability seems to have been two ways at first with each party being able to control the body they're transferred to. Though over time, this has been transferred to Jake's body. At the end Jake seemed to be doing better, getting out of the dream in an hour or two, might be because the old woman's body was losing Puppeteer power. A way of defeating the Puppeteer: travel to Malaysia and kill the old woman before the transfer is concluded... Great story as always, the ending was devastating. Thanks creeps!

The beginning it's possible he had a stroke. There are cases reported of people falling asleep having a stroke waking up and speaking a different language or accent

Ok ik it's nt me alone that has been able to do this.... I dont know how to control it or have i tried. It happens randomly. More like a shadowing of what the person's doing, I have no control, nor have I tried to control this person. And it's always random ppl nt the same person like in this story. I've been looking for info and found nothing. Idk who to ask for help or what to do with this. It's not lucid dreaming cus i dont have control over what happens. No random items pop up cus i wanted it to. If anyone actually has info on this. I think I need your help, if I'm not a complete loomy and just need to be medicated
