As, pinoy I agree that having an all-pinoy team is a really bad idea. They tend to become complacent and overconfident when playing together resulting in lousy plays and lack of heirarchy when it comes to comms. Individually, they are very skilled, destroying people in pubs, but put them in a team togeher and it becomes a mess.

I don't think that's ever going to happen. The talent pool is very shallow because of the overall popularity of the game in the country. You're talking about a country where a gaming PC/console is considered a luxury 🤣. Most Dota players there don't have their own set up, they have to go to internet cafés just to play, you'd be hard pressed finding a decent player there. But I hear they're doing better in the mobile game scene, makes sense.
