Oh my goodness, that is the very first thing I thought also. They r so devoted to each other. I hope some loving person or family we adopt them both. They would be a joy every day they r so sweet.

Mom and dad should be adopted together. He’s so devoted to mom, and he’s helping her with the babies. Shows he cared for her.

@@martineshamzin7535 With the two girl kittens I adopted there is such a deep sympathy between them and particularly with one sister towards the other, her constant concern and doting, that I think it would have been traumatic for her to have not been adopted with her sister. They shelter wasn't adopting them as a bonded pair but we knew immediately we wanted them both and it wasn't until we got them home and watched their behaviour together how close they were. It has been a year and one cannot rest unless she knows the other is well. The one who is doted on is much more resilient and could probably do fine without her sister but no the other way around. I worry the male dog, Mr. Big, felt similarly for Carrie.

They are definitely a bonded pair and should never be separated! It's not often you see the dad had as much interaction with the puppies as for Mom!

No doubt they are bounded. How he protects her is beautiful. They MUST stay together.

He seems very attached to her. I don't think it's necessarily devoted to being a dad, but when animals have to fend for themselves they may bond. He seems very attached to her.

It's very possible they are siblings, abandoned together, forming a pack of two.

@@k.s.k.7721 Could be a breeder rejection when another dog 'got into' the mama dog instead of the intended one. We'll only know when the puppies get bigger and don't look like 'dad'.

Dogs have more loyalty, more forgiveness and more love than most humans

Wolves in the wild have very similar family structures to humans. That's probably the reason why dogs can live so well with humans, because their biological programmed sociality is so similar to ours.

I have never seen two dogs have babies and act like they are married. The father is helping and loves his wife so very much. Omg. I feel guilty now that I just took home my 8 week old puppy. She misses her brothers and mom and dad.

Humans can learn so much from animals anyway. Just a shame they're treated as lesser when in fact, they're far more intelligent.

@rib bit i think he only said that because most of the rescue videos by hope for paws about rescuing mom dogs and her puppies they don't usually find the dad dog with the mom dog and her puppies probably because a lot of the time these mom dogs about to give birth or just gave birth are usually just used for breeding

@rib bit no it doesn't because like i said sometimes the dog who is the dad doesn't know they have puppies. Can't be a dead beat if you don't know you have kids

My dog recently had puppies. Momma dog didn’t allow dad near the babies until about a month. Mom dogs don’t necessarily care for the dad after birth. They prefer them not around.

They look so similar, that they may be brother and sister, in which case they've probably spent their whole lives together, looking out for each other on the streets. Whatever their story is, and however they came together, they should definitely stay together. I don't think some people understand just how close a bonded pair of animals are. We have multiple cats...they all get along, play together, snuggle together to sleep. But 2 of them are a truly bonded pair. We rescued a pregnant cat, who we called McCoy, and one of her babies is a girl, who we called Dot (because she was so tiny). When Dot was old enough to start roaming and meeting the other cats, she found Puck, and it was love at first sight. That was 6 years ago, and they have been inseparable ever since. Pucky is a fluffy tuxedo, and Dot is a short haired tuxedo. When she was a kitten, she loved to snuggle with him. She would knead the fur on his chest, and those little claws had to hurt, but he always just lay there and let her. She is still tiny, and seeing them together is like seeing a father and child. They have to be where the other one is, they walk through the house side by side (literally touching each other), they eat together, they always sleep together, and when one of them has to go to the vet, the other one just lies by the door until they get home. That is what a bonded pair is like. When I read about a shelter that has adopted out one of a bonded pair, it breaks my heart, because I know that those animals are heartbroken.

Sadly though- they were, Mr Big has already been adopted and so have several of the puppies, I guess we can just be grateful that they got homes even if not together, way better than no homes at all.

This is actually how wolf packs work in the wild: It's mommy, daddy and their cubs. And the cubs stay when they are adults and help mom and dad care for the younger siblings for a couple of years. That's how they learn to be parents themselves. When they feel ready, they may leave the pack and found their own ones.

Yes, some of them have abused animals then have someone swoop in to "rescue" them. If you see something like that, bring to RU-vid's attention to have them banned

Not sure about 'most'- but yes, there are certainly some fake ones out there....

If you like animal rescue, have a look at the British channel Wildlife Aid. They rescue and rehabilitate all kinds of British wildlife. They don't rescue domestic pets though as there are other genuine rescues for that. Well worth watching and you'll be able to see our varied British wildlife from birds to badgers to our indigenous reptiles 😊

Yep, here is one channel that has been proven by another RU-vidr to injure puppies themselves, then, as another reply has said, swoop in to rescue it. God only knows what happens to these 'rescues' after they've made the video. Cruelty to animals, all for clicks. And RU-vid does not police it at all. None should be allowed unless they are a reputable registered charity.
