Loved this video. I also have a warning cue, “uh oh.” I’m curious on how you got Nova to walk loose leash. If you have training tips? Or is she a natural? Also, I would like to hear if you have any training frustrations with Nova. You make everything look very easy. Is she reactive or fearful towards anything?
Hi Jeff! For the most part Nova is pretty good on the leash but sometimes she does pull. I just stop in my tracks and try to get her to come back to where I'm standing and ask her to sit. Then I release and we start walking again and I basically just do that every time she starts pulling. It's helped but we're not perfect yet. I've also heard that if you turn around and go the other direction when they pull that kind of helps. Nova is really scared of getting her nails trimmed so I try to work on that a lot with her by touching her paws and each individual nail but whenever the clippers come out she really doesn't like it. I'm also still struggling with potty training 😅

Hi! I think you should maybe start by carrying her in your arms in the elevator until she's a little older and can hold her bladder better or bring her down a little earlier that way she doesn't pee in the elevator. Or you could also get one of those grass patches and put it on your balcony or something!
LOVE your videos but has Nova had any health issues cos I also want to get a shih tzu but I learned that it has some disturbing health issues sooooo how do you cope with that
