I have never seen a mother dog be so protective against the male before. And at the same time, she teaches the male the rules of her temperament, which he respects. The mother instinct is fascinating.

I've seen a few videos here where the mothers don't let the fathers near the puppies. It's likely a hormonal thing where the moms want to protect the puppies but it also makes sense because the dads probably just want to play with them and the moms know the pups are too vulnerable for that. Once the pups are beginning to run around and explore the moms seem to let up on the dads.

My jack russell was the same,they are very over protective, but they trust their owners,my dog sees how rough the male is in general so is afraid he will harm the puppy either accidentally or on purpose.

Belgian Malinois are such special dogs. I had one years ago, and ther wasn't one thing he wouldn't do for his pack (us). I miss him so much. However, for the uninitiated, they require a job and lots of exercise. These guys are NOT couch potatoes. Again, such special, intelligent dogs. Thank you for sharing the pup's growth with us. His parents are also beautiful. 😍

The new guy is so special. Even more so than his parents, if that’s even possible. Such a smart boy. When he tried to get inside his dad’s throat to see what’s in there, relentlessly even, told me a lot. Never seen anything like it. This boy demands to know what this life and world is all about! ❤

Suddenly I was suck into the videos of yours. I've done some thoughts about that. You wisely let the recordings speak for themselves, in contrast to most RU-vid channels, where the RU-vidr talks one to death with its steamy non-considerations. So one don't get the time to form one's own impression. Talk less and talk down to earth is a much needed prescription. 👍👍

Eventually the father will be part of the puppies life because the mother will allow him. The father plays a important role as the disciplinarian of the puppies . The longer they are with their mother and father the more they'll be taught social skills etc.

OMG cute overload!! When the puppy bit the cat on the butt!!😂😂😂 Cat wasn’t having it. They are cute, but the teeth at that age! Ours were like mako sharks! The puppy period is a challenge with a mail but when they are trained and bonded to the family, it’s like having a very loving and obedient velociraptor who will do anything for you and protect your family against anything. Love your Sable! She is a beautiful and good mama, and dad is so good with the kiddo. Love your channel and your a good representation for those with properly trained and socialized maligators 😊

This is strange. I've never known a dog have just one puppy, ever. Did the others die. They can't have been sold, they are far too young to be away from their mother. No wonder she is so protective, whether they died or were taken from her, it must have been deeply traumatic for her. And how sad for the puppy to not have the benefits and comforts of little playmates.

Freedom had one puppy. It’s called a singleton litter. Was a wonderful experience for her, not traumatic. Why people always jump straight to accusations of killing and selling puppies. Why can’t people click on the page and do a little research first? 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

@neucounty I've worked with rescue dogs for over 20 years, I've never ever even heard of a dog only having one puppy. Dogs that have only one survive, yes. But dogs that only have one puppy to start with is a first in over 20 years experience with 1000s of pregnant dogs. And I never even suggested that someone had killed any puppies, that never even crossed my mind.

Los limites se los enseño el gato al cachorro , como esta acostumbrado a vivir con los padres el cachetazo es sin garras ,pero el humani no debe intervenir es la dinamica del aprendisaje animal para convivencia .el respeto entre ellos ,obvio el cachorro ira teniendo límites hasta de sus padres ..pero esta bien porq el cachorro crecera respetando al gato ,ni lo tocara .pueden convivir en armonia
