This happened yesterday night at Makarpura Baroda with Mrs. Parul Acharya. She and her husband are animal lovers and feeds the stray dogs of her colony at Vaikunthdham Tenament. A few people in the colony had harassed the people who feed the stray dogs of the society by unnecessarily quarreling with them due to which some feeders has stopped feeding the stray.. Due to this a few puppies there have become weak..Yesterday one of the puppies was very sick and stopped eating so Mrs. Acharya had called up Mr. Trivedi an animal activist who came with medicines to give primary treatment to the puppy at night.. They were looking for the puppies when these few people came and started to shout & scream on them. They were not allowing them to give treatment. But Mrs. Acharya and Mr. Trivedi were persistent and stood against the resistant and they gave primary treatment. This is a very sad state of affairs that some people threaten the good ones and stop them from feeding the strays. Its the constitutional duty of every citizen of India to be compassionate towards animals. Nobody can stop any good citizen to perform his or her duty. Deny a living being from being treated is a medico-legal offense. Nobody has any right to take away anyone's life by threatening others to not feed or deny someone the right to being treated medically.
