not gonna lie, had me real worried in the first half with all the past tense.

I have a similar relationship with my dog, to the extent that he sleeps in our bedroom and when I get into bed he comes around the side of the bed, two paws up and licks (kisses??) me before jumping down and settles into his bed. Don’t know where I’d be without his totally unconditional love.

Sterls and your family remind me so much of mine and our Maggie dog. Mags went with us when we took our daughter (her real owner, lol) to college. Several months went by before our daughter came home on break. Mags met her at the door. My daughter knelt down, hugging and talking to Mags. Mags put her head on my daughter's shoulder and whined this happy crying sound. So many memories. Love and fun beyond measure. An angel in our midst. I enjoyed your visit to Ottawa. So beautiful!
