I have 12 week old Dutch shepherd and he's amazingly smart. I have been teaching him sign language and play soccer tennis ball with him. Also he knows how to run right next to me on the left. He is worth every penny!
I see many people stock at what command can we not hear. Guys!!!! You choose whatever command is suitable for you, just make sure you only start to add verbal command, when the dog confidently follows body language which is thought by luring. If you want to fart instead of saying sit, you can teach your dog to respond to your fart, if you can provide the same sound when needed. It's really amateur matter and don't be upset, if someone is not wasting time explaining something which is available for everyone, just watch the adequate video for yourself. The video is great, educational, and i enjoyed it.. It's really annoying when someone has spent a lot of effort to learn, how to increase progression and idle people want those details without putting any effort in the project and ignoring others effort. I understand, if the owner of the video prefer to spend more time with his dog then explaining you blind people what's going on in front of you. This video is not addressed for mentally disabled people, but you can enjoy a happy puppy progression.
she kept her. She said she's quite fearful too. So. I have been lovin the stuffin out of him. Your right, he is coming along. He still wants to cower when he thinks he's in trouble but he doesn't pee. And he's huge! He's filling out so nice. Thanks for sharing all you do with us. It's very much appreciated. Oh, for anyone who thinks your cruel for how you train, their intelligence speaks for them. LOL Keep up the good work.
Wow, I love your training. I only train with positive feedback and it kind of seems from videos that this is still rare. But in my opinion it's the only option to form a healthy bond with your dog. Thanks!
Very cute! We have a 19 week old GSD that just came home from a 2 week basic course. They use positive pressure and treat with food too... The transformation is amazing! "Sarge", our boy, was happy before but bored... He seems to really enjoy having a job, and if he minds working for his food he isn't showing it. To the people who say they should be able to eat in peace... Ok, sure, maybe a chihuahua should. A working dog, like a GSD, has a high drive instinct that makes this kind of training perfect for them. Considering dogs had to work for their food before humans domesticated them, I don't think they really mind as much as some people think they do. The trainer we sent our boy to had working GSDs.. SAR/Police K9 type dogs.. They all worked very well under positive guidance and they were all very, very happy dogs. Animal abuse indeed!
I use the same method except a little more aggressive. My 3 and a half month bull terrier is potty trained and knows his basic commands as far as rolling over. Very proud of my little boy :D
this pup is totally enjoying himself, tail is wagging and WANTING to please the handler, a wonderful way of training, I have trained 4 Rhodesian ridgebacks with my own positive reinforcement, I found what it was the drove each dog and used that. NEVER did the dog feel that it was anything then pleasing me OR that it was part of the play times. It is also a great way to BOND with ur dog...my dogs are with me because they WANT to and they ARE dogs and not a tool. I never asked them to protect me or help me when I am sick (have a rare condition causing weakness and temporary paralysis) They are my passion and I am sooooo happy to see ur training method ... GSD have a strong drive and was bred to WORK...you are only exercising the breed in what it was bred in, it makes for a happier well balanced dog to train with Positive tool
brilliant work, your got a little gem there. i just got myself another puppy a black and tan this time. hope he will be as good as yours lol. my working line gsd is 3years old and great to work with . again brill training it was great to watch you train your puppy.
Sehr gut. Nice pup.For people that don't know, watch his legs as he walks off. Walk off with left leg, dog follows. With right leg, dog stays. If you mix it up, dog is mixed up. So, first train yourself.
Beautiful dog, beautiful method. I have an 11 week old who starts this very thing next week....hoping to take him as far as he wants to go with it all.....best to you sir, count me in a a subscriber....
There`s nothing in the world more beautiful and cute than german shepherd baby.I have had two of them. They were the best friends of me. Now i have the thirh one and i think the same. The best frient of the human= The best thing ever created in Germany equal the Mercedes and even higher. It`s not only a gog - it`s a person
I really enjoy watching how your puppy is enjoying the games, yet still learning. Well done 👏, Ignore negative comments, those guys are fare below your standard and don't deserve you waste your time with explaining details, which is in front of them anyway. People whose got the basic knowledge about the importance of motivation driven by food and toys and the importance of the luring, they will appreciate your video for sure 👍.
Generally l am super positive with my 1st 12.4 weeks old GSD . Had him since he was 6.5 weeks old . He ( Shadow ) is a super smart dog . Training with treats . But the little bugger bites & nips . Sometimes out of pure frustration l slap his nose or rump . Not so positive at all . At 8- 9 weeks he was doing all these . Sit . Drop . Sit back up. Rolling over . Shaking both paws . Waiting 4 his food . Going 2 bed . Sitting & me backing up 35ft & calling him & he comes & sits down infront of me without a command. Fetches his balls ( either golf or tennis ) & puts it in my hand & then paw on my wrist . I dont want 2 ruin him by slapping him. I play with him . Tug of war ect . He eats very well . It takes an enormous effort 2 tire him out . I took him next door yesterday 2 play with 2 of his siblings ( boy & girl ) they eventually conked out & he was still going . This was after 2-3 walks prior . How do l fix his nipping & bitting please. Robert . Australia He sat down on command within the 1st 30- 45 min. And taught him to drop the next day very quickly . I have been doing 5-6 short training sessions a day . He was the top dog in the litter . Any suggestions would be really appreciated . Cheers 😀🐕🐕🐾🐾
Tbh I feel like when I get one(2-4 months I might get one)I might be more responsible n more out going bc these are my dream dog...I been wanting years for one and I'm so close to getting one,i'm so excited! :D
I am so blessed to have a pup, only 2-3 months old of range, to have known not to mess up inside the house, rather go out on the backyard and poop/pee there. Also I have trained him some commands and is still looking for training him more. He is a mix dog. Would that determine the intelligence of a dog or having a mix-breed dog would not affect any of it? Thanks for answering!
