We're the only organism with an ego, a false self. Dogs might imagine themselves as the pack leader. They might have some sense of being something they're not. But, when invalidated they don't carry it around forever like an open wound, believing they really were the leader, should be, are (if only others would recognize it). The stuff they can carry around forever is what human egos to do them (the initial abuse, or the next person feeling sorry for them, rewarding them for being a broken dog. In the wild, it's not like that.).

Well, I'd say the behavior noted at 7:43 sounds like a dog can create instabilities but I understand people have a far greater amount of influence on situations for sure.

I couldn’t agree more. It took me about a week to train my aunts German Shepard to learn how to walk calmly by my side instead of pulling and walking in front just by implementing Cesar’s way!

Cesar's most underrated contribution is teaching humans about the primordial silent world of energy: calmness, assertiveness, relaxation, body language, nonverbal communication, instinctual behaviour, respect, hierarchy Most people probably neglect all this and concentrate way more on the "taming the beast" aspect of the show.

Why would you invite the perverted people to your space . They have done inappropriate things regarding minors why would you bring socialize your team and family with creeps like this . I have a 2 year old Samoyed whom is a very excited girl. The biggest problem I have is that I can't talk to people outside, because she will keep barking so loud I can't even focus on the conversation. Her whole body tells me she wants to keep moving. I'd love to see how to handle barking problems :)

This is amazing! There should be some sort of mandatory course you have to take and pass before having a dog. Same as you need driving lessons to get the driving license to be able to drive.

Sadly, there are too many dogs in need of a forever home. Most can’t afford/wait to vet and screen their all potential owners as thorough as they want. In an ideal world, shelters wouldn’t be over crowded.

He just makes so much sense . I've been following him for years,adopted dogs with issues due to bad owners and seriously it made a huge difference resulting In very healthy varied pack consisting of Chihuahuas, rotties,pitties and malamutes ,cats,horses miniature goat and this is from someone who was terrified after a serious dog attack ...again bad owners...nearly 200 stitches. And my pack consisted mainly of problem breeds . Love Cesar's way it just works ..with people too

I'm so glad I've been blessed to have followed Cesar for SO MANY years! I've been able to pass his ways down to my kids. And have been able to foster and re-home over 50 dogs. Plus being able to bring the knowledge over when I was an Animal Control officer. 🙏💕

I have to appreciate this man. He doesn't only point out the dog's bad behavior but he's not afraid to correct human bad behavior. I got a 4-month-old great dane and a turd of a border collie, since I've been watching his videos and doing what he said and how to correct the dog and myself I feel like I've gained control over my dogs. My first and only dog was a Rottweiler. I had no knowledge of the breed at all. I bought books educating myself and watched Caesar. If I tell you by the time my dog was full grown he was well trained. THANK YOU CAESAR!!!

Esa noche conocerte fue un regalo maravilloso de la vida y de tu forma de verla para los animales y Himanos. I dont know if you will read this Cesar but you literally saved my dogs' life. He was a stray puppy on the freeway and chased everything from cars to a blowing leaf and major pulling on leash. I can't Thank You enough for your guidance even for those of us who have relatiively good skills but not when it comes to special challenges with dogs. You have a positive spot and legacy here in the USA and I am so grateful you came here! ☺️

I've never even had a dog and I've loved watching Cesar from the very beginning. I feel like I learn life lessons, not just people-animal lessons, every time I see him. Some of these teachings really give insight into how to manage and/or adjust to people personalities (aggressive, fearful, traumatized, unsure, dominant, etc...). Cesar, you are a gift to the world brother.

there's this aggressive dog in my neighbor and his owners can't even walk him on a leash bc he is so stubborn and they literally have to pull him or they get pulled. I'm learning how to not get bit bc of him lmao

All of what he is saying, I learned when my dog went blind at a relatively early age. He inherited an early onset blindness and I was so depressed to see him bumping into things and getting the diagnosis. But then I decided to learn what I could about changing things so I could still play with him and I researched. First thing I learned is that all dogs "see" mostly with their noses anyway. He does so well, people often do not believe that he is blind. Which is a good thing. Cesar is right about this topic.

It’s a pity you didn’t have dogs as a kid! We had dogs all my life and our neighbors dog attacked me when I was 7 and ripped up my face. I loved dogs even more after that but maybe I’m weird.. Get a dog.. watch Cesar’s videos and be confident ALWAYS, don’t be too soft on the dog.. which doesn’t mean screaming or smacking.. just be confident. Maybe if you find someone close who can instruct you the Cesar way..

I have a rottweiler great dane mix he is amazing and huge. Took time to introduce him to a husky puppy after our female bulldog died he was superbclose to the bulldog and he truly mourned her and was resistant to a new pup. He would ignore him so we took them in seperate cars and walked them together. We sliwly introduced him and it took time and persistence and work. The other rottweilers accepted the husky Wolf took time. Now he is very protective of the husky and they are pals took work but we did it.

I'm just about to get my third dog a Tenterfield Terrier and it's been a while so I thought id better brush up on my dog handling skills, but from watching your informative vids I find I need to brush it up on my end, thank you so much for your effort, at 70 y.o.
