Wow, those gold crystals were so beautiful, those layered gold precipitates looked so neat. Amazing gold bar and bigger than what it looked like it would be in powder form. 👍🏻
I enjoy watching you the most by far. I wish more videos could be done. But I most definitely understand the best I can of how much prep would go into this. We only see a small portion of it all I’m sure.
Idk how I stumbled on your content last week but I’ve been binging it and I’m convinced I wanna start this as a hobby. Do you have any videos or could you do one on safety practices and ppe you wear while doing this??? Thanks
I'm itching to refine something but scrap karat gold prices have gone way up, especially since the pre-Gaza era. Sadly, I don't have the time to hunt around for good deals... it's cost efficient for me to continue buying bullion.
I'm right handed, can play piano and keyed instruments but can't hold and pour using my left hand. came to mind watching you pour just now. Hey, it's a comment - and comments count !
Question: has your reputation with buyers and sellers gotten to the point where buyers don't even question the purity/quality of your product? Or do they always use the test device, regardless of reputation. And do they give you a good price?
@@sreetips Oh wow, they must break out in a big smile when you walk in the door. They still test it, but they also know they're getting exactly what they pay for.
Wow. I so want to get into refining gold but I know the costs and setup would likely be beyond me at the moment. For now I will have to content myself with watching your brilliant videos.
Now something interesting to see what would happen take a small ammount of some gold solution thats heavly concentrated in a spare container set it someplace and let it naturally dry out and see what the gold crystals would look like in the end by that i mean not setting it on the heat just off n a warm spot to just dry out
I do t know. I’ve seen it happen before. One time the gold powder was so fine that I thought it was got ripped off. But when I melted it, all the gold was there. It’s baffling.
Wow, that is a beautiful bar Sreetips. Weirdly, I completed my first 100g refining today. Mainly 9kt and 18kt (UK). But the pour doesn't look nearly as nice as yours. I don't think it's purity, just poor timing. Kindest Regards.
Dispose of gold? I keep my gold. Gold is real money, real wealth. I’m not going to trade my highly valuable gold, that’s rising in value, for printed paper currency that’s declining in value. If I need some paper to pay bills or buy some food, then I can always sell a little of my metals. There are big refiners that will buy it and pay 98% of the grossly undervalued spot price. I’m not selling gold, I’m buying!
There are two Stump Out products sold by two different companies; BONIDE and Spectracide. Stump Out by BONIDE is Sodium Metabisulfite and suitable for use as a gold precipitant. Stump Out sold by Spectracide is NOT suitable as a gold precipitant. It is Potassium Nitrate and will not drop the gold from a chloroauric acid solution.
