Hold your breath...... Make a wish....... Count to 3........ I sang this at karaoke, for Gene, the week that he passed away. I'll admit that I had tears in my eyes as I sang it, but I blew that song out, and the crowd LOVED IT!!! I had many people tell me they LOVED that I sang that, because they love the movie.
Is it weird that I can picture Jack Haley singing this masterpiece? I think I can picture a balcony as well lol! That's a reference to my most favourite song, If I Only Had a Heart.
@@MyITRcom By the audience you mean yourself, right? I'd say the 2005 film provides a pretty heartwarming story, especially during the Charlie & family scenes and Grandpa Joe's story, Willy's reunification with his father and the ending. All scenes at the factory aren't meant to be heartwarming per se, since the factory (especially in the book) was always meant to be a mysterious, magical, but dangerous place at heart, just like the WONKY Willy Wonka himself. He is not just some sweet, slightly odd, funny trickster. He is actually a very weird person if you look into the dialogue and his overall behavior in the book. Also, what connection exactly does the film lack?
Up until 1:25 Violet and Verruca were elbowing each other and Mr Wonka notices at 1:22. After he beats his cane on the banister they stop for the rest of the walk down the stairs.
Thank you. You used the soundtrack version for the audio, didn't you? Because when Mrs. Teavee says ''Rachmaninov'', you only see her lips moving but you don't hear her voice: this happens in the soundtrack. Thank you.
