“Waited a long time, then he flew off in the wrong direction.” I get that many times with frustration. But doesn’t diminish the joy of being out in nature capturing memorable images. Wonderful still image collection at the end Steve.

Great stuff Steve! I could watch you ramble on all day. The photos are killer, as usual. Still no owls in my hunts, but I got a few water birds on camera. The advantage there is they let you come fairly close and are much easier to spot, LOL! Take care!

in my country those owls are EXTREMELY shy. they almost never get close, thats why I never managed to get a proper photo of them. your photography is amazing.

That was a fantastic shot of the GGO with the dappled light. I have still only ever gotten shots of them in the dead of winter at -40, so nice that you can see them in these conditions.
