Pure Polish smells like Oranges! 

The original owner/creator of the recipe had a cult following on the shoe forums, and I remember detailed literature being avail ab how his recipe compared to Saphir. I believe he hand made batches out of his home. He was an older guy, and the brand went away for a bit bc he wanted to retire, but I believe his son in law revived it and renamed it Pure Polish.

I think the cleaner/conditioner and the hard wax are the 2 best products that they have. You describe the orange oil as "light" but actually the cleaner is really strong and can easily remove hard wax polish. Brift H and Boot Black cleaners are good but can be hard to buy in the US. Renomat is effective but takes a while to use and smells bad at least to me.

Great video. I'm going to buy some Pure Polish. They seem like a great company. Keep up the great work, more vintage Florsheims and AE MacNeils.

Why not just use coconut oil and a few drops of orange juice?

Just a word to the wise my friend, the First Amendment deals with government censorship of freedom of speech, not the Second Amendment. You are welcome to offer whatever criticisms you have of any products, whether they are Saphir, Pure Polish, Venetian or any other brand. The only limitation is any repercussion for libel and defamation, and since you are clearly only offering your opinion as a cobbler, does not apply.

I couldn't care less if the container is recyclable or not. What I care about is the quality and performance of the product so the first five minutes of this video was just blah, blah, blah.
