Dude, I've been living in Indonesia for 29 years and I didn't even know such masterpiece like this exists in this country. This album is just beautiful. The riffs, the orchestral, they're just perfect. Hard to believe that all of these came out from the mind of one man.
OMG when I sang in a band years ago I wrote a song with very similar pickings to the beginning of Grief of Our Father. Now I can relate to the man who composed this even more.
I've never imagined that some of the best death metal musicians would spawn such high quality black metal ...and now there are pure wrath and lifelost , damn ...
Not wondrous at all, if you ask me: The two genres are perfectly fitting each other in terms of cross-pollination. Actually strange that it doesn't happen way more often (or maybe I am overlooking a lot).
From intro on: Liked, faved, celebrated. Always interesting to hear a take on metal from a people so vastly different from one's own. More power to Indonesian metalheads!
Ryo is a master in his field! First LP fucked me up and now this gem. That's atmospheric bm on its best! Only know a few bands with riffs that good and mesmerizing.
One of the most beautiful albums I've ever heard! So true and close to what it stands being a conscious human being! Masterpiece sounds weak in the case! Respect!
