Purgatory Stories: The Power of The Rosary for Purgatory 

If you keep praying for your family on Earth and who may or may not be in Purgatory, without ceasing, (does not mean continueosly but means without giving up) daily to pray for them, you will not be the last practicing Catholic for much longer and of course pray for all others as well as its a good way to "love thy neighbor."

I pray the Flame of Love Hail Mary. In in the Queen promises that 3 modified Hail Mary's freees a soul from Purgatory. And if you fast on a Monday you free a preist soul in Purgatory.

If 7 days feels like 700 years, then 700 years would feel like 70,000 years.

What is this prayer?

The S. Gertrude pray which releases 1000 souls from Purgatory is my go to. Or the Flame of Love Hail Mary which promises to release a soul if said 3 times. It's a Carmolite Devotion

A group of us does the same thing every Friday morning after mass at the cemetery across the street. At the end of the Rosary we recite the Litany for the Holy Souls in Purgatory

I totally agree! I'm not sure if you heard about the Flame of Love devotion. But it's a Carmolite Devotion given by Mary and Jesus that Helps Souls in Purgatory including Priest. There's an new Hail Mary that if said 3 times releases as soul. And if a person fast on Monday it releases a priest soul in purgatory. Additionally, if a person competes that fast, during that week when a person receives the Eucharist (any day of the week), numerous souls are released at the point of reception!

Yeah, it has so many purgatory stories. Am surprised Alvaro has never made a video about it!

The Bible is clear if you think the blood atonement of what Jesus did for us on the cross is not enough and we somehow can pay for our sins in purgatory. You are NOT trusting in Christ but yourself and you will end up in eternal damnation.

@@mak88119 Hi, Purgatory is not about paying for sins. The blood of Christ saved us and that's why it is possible to go to Purgatory (it is a saved state). After death, the effects of evil is still in soul and needs to be purified before being face to pure God, and this purification is done with kindness which takes time. Actually the Purgatory is an immense Mercy way which is ignored by protestant who sees only the Justice way. I invite you to learn more about Purgatory. And as a gentle reminder, the Jesus' Church has also authority from Him to teach spiritual truth. Luther/Calvin and all protestants today are making themselves the authority of Bible interpretation (the proof is that every "confession" choose what they want to believe), therefore as you said you are NOT trusting in Christ but yourself and you risk to end up in eternal damnation. ​@awaiting...His...return obedience is so important and we cannot critize anything approved by the magestierium as its seen as disobedience by God, just learning how important this is, even if something is not right as long as we obey we Glorify God and he gives us all merit anyway and I gave seen amazing results from the chaplet of Mercy, it's really powerful as is Divine Mercy Sunday,embrace all the treasures of the Church,trust nobody else

Honestly, that was what I was kinda thinking. However, we do know that Divine Mercy Sunday granted us complete forgiveness for purgatory indulgences, assuming we meet those criteria. (Easy Google look up) There are also number devotions at grant souls remittance from Purgatory, given the criteria was meet. Keep in mind, the way I look at devotions are like "spiritual extra credit." Not required but knowing me. I'd really need the extra help. Too name a few. Sacred Heart Devotion - The goal is to help alleviate Jesus' weeping heart for the ingratidude of mankind. Promise included graces for endeavors in life and promised to have your name written in his Heart. Along with the promise that before you die you will be have the sacraments before you die. The Immaculate Heart devotion. Goal is to make reparations to the sins against Mary. Promised that she will accompany you at your time of death. The Flame of Love Devotion is a Carmolite Devotion that helps free a priest soul from Purgatory. It includes fasting and who ever does this, thier soul is freed from Purgatory 8 days after they die. The grace was asked by the Queen of Heaven her self. There is also a St. Micheal the Archangel devotion. That promises he will help you when you die to get to heaven. *double check me on this one* There's also a Gregoiran Mass that could be said on your behalf that a soul released from purgatory after 30 consecutive masses. Keep in mind there are other devotions that I didn't mention. But they ultimately are meant to get us closer to God. Also it just shows the graces and tradition inside the Catholic Church. As these devotion are meant to can help souls get to heaven. This is also a reminder that should be our primary goal in life. And that God wants every soul to be with him.
