You live under a parliamentary system. You don't only have two real choices like we do the US. You can get a coalition government if Labour is forced to form a coalition government with the left wing parties in order to against the Tories. Or even an independent coalition government if enough Greens, SNP, and other smaller left wing parties get seats.

I have to be honest and say being from Belfast I know little of Faiza or her politics but the manner in which she was dumped from the party she committed herself to was shameful. I will also add the way she responded by going on TV when the emotions were still fresh to respond shows a great strength of character and conviction on her part, two things the Labour party lack !!
She is a genuine person, which is unfortunately very rare in a politician. She comes from her constituency and knows the people very well. This is what MPs should be like. Of course this is unacceptable to the high ups!
Unfortunately people like Faiza Shaheen keep apologizing, when they've done nothing wrong. The tweet she liked was correct, and everyone remotely clued up about politics knows this. Apologizing validates these ridiculous smears against truth tellers. What Faiza should have done is stood her ground( because she's factually correct), stated her case, and pointed out the evidence. These liars infiltrating UK politics need to be met head on.
I am in Scotland. I was brought up in a labour household my dad was a union shop steward. I am an SNP member because the only way i see Scotland getting a left wing government is independence. Labour have been working with Tories against the SNP for ages now we call Labour the red tories for a reason in Scotland. People in England are only now starting to see Labours true colours now.

What happened to Faiza Shaheen was the worst news I'd had in political terms all year. Whatever happened to the left within Labour over the last few years, she was a light of hope. To read what happened to her before she'd probably even been told herself just made me feel so much for her, knowing how sudden it must have been and how much she'd worked that seat, coming so close last time. And also, if they've now allowed Abbott to stand after doing something more controversial than anything Faiza did, then why not Faiza? It's so upsetting they've done this to someone who comes across as such a genuinely decent and caring person. I wish her strength to overcome this injustice and the success she deserves in future.

The fact that the Starmsi brief the press before informing the candidate really illustrates the quality and personal integrity of the people employed by the LP. Incredible too that those who are on record in Whatsapp messages flailing Diane Abbott with racist and msiogynistic abuse were never brought to book.
It is so sad to see Faiza Shaheen so broken by these heart- and soulless men of The Starmer Party machinery. I hope this beautiful lady, in so many aspects, can recover in time to build a strong antidote to the vagueries of said party. It must be heartbreaking to have your political basis ripped from under you., and I hope she finds lots of support quickly in order to be able to stand strongly against such abuse of power and can still continue to represent the people in her borrow at and past this election.
