Purging the Doctrine | The Chronological Gospels 

A verb usually indicates action or equality to something else. Marshall is ugly. means Marshall = ugly. Marshall runs. means Marshall is doing the activity of running. I'm sure you're familiar with so called 'action' verbs. As the scriptures say, Faith without works is dead. In other words, if your faith is just hot air coming out of your mouth or just thoughts whirling around inside your brain, you are not doing YHVH's will for you nor are you following Yeshua's example. Look at everything Yeshua did during his 70 weeks of ministry. That's only 1 & 1/2 years of ministry, not 3 year myth perpetuated by mainstream Christendom. Yeshua & his disciples traveled on foot, by boat, here there & all around. He was active, a mover & a shaker in the faith. He fed the masses. He healed. He chastised the wrongdoers. He comforted those in need. He did so much. He went to temple & interacted with the scribes. He dealt with manipulating, quarrelsome demanding Pharisees. He ate, drank, & socialized. He didn't just sit around & wait for people to come to him. He actively did His Father's will, even when the religious leaders of his time tried to portray him as evil & his works sinful. He spoke to his sheep. He taught his disciples.. He answered so many questions, while He created even more questions. He was a dynamo, & we are to mimic him. If we are true believers we will not just bury YHVH's mina, the words, deeds, & example of the living Word, Yeshua, His son. The best flattery is make our Lord's example a crash course in making every moment of our present lives count for the kingdom. If we truly love the Father & His Son, we will not just start the car & just rev the engine. We'll put the car in gear & the car will be able to go places & thereby better accomplish the function for which it was created. Humans were created to do YHVH's will. Lest, the scripture, Your will, not my will be done. If we believe, we should not be content to just be passive believers. Yeshua told the rich man who wanted to follow him to sell all the riches he had & give to the poor. That"s activity. If there are people in need, there is another biblical instruction to Go! Sell your belongings & give those poor ones the money. That's not call up Goodwill or the Salvation Army with a cellphone & order them come pick up your junk & demand a tax deduction receipt in hand. To the contrary, scripture says to actively sell your worldly possessions. That's work. That takes time & effort. That also is actively saying adios to the possessions, rather than just them disappearing to be seen any longer, which is passive. People are less likely to reaccumulate possessions if they actively sell the old ones. Action on your part also makes you think about & focus more upon what you doing & why. YHVH will bless your efforts, & Yeshua will be pleased. Additionally, look at the action & activities of Shaul/Paul. He was all over the place in spite of his physical ailments. He could have pled infirmity, but instead, he traveled & toured until the time he was arrested. He collected donations for disaster victims. Passive Paul? No, never. Even when he didn't need to, he embarked on quite a few dangerous adventures. He wasn't going to be inactive while he could do things. Likewise, we need to get & stay busy, actively working for the kingdom while there is still time. Time is short! Faith is active. Faith is moving, growing, & productive. Faith is fruitful & bears more ever more fruit when it is actively tended to. Faith is a verb.
