I just bought this in shade 21 and I thought it would be too dark but it actually works for my NW10 skintone. I agree with others that it sort of adjusts to fit my skintone. I also love the grey undertone as it color corrects my facial redness

This is incredibly timely! I, too, fell hard for the snail BB, and spent a panicked hour last night ordering tubes of it on eBay. I also ordered the Cica BB to see how it compares. Honestly, at age 52 with dry skin, there aren’t many foundations that look decent. I loved it so much, that I ordered a yellow mix-in from LA Girl to counter the gray cast it has (it works, by the way). Thanks for putting my fears about the new one to rest!

@@unlikelycritic9356 Ok I just tried it (wow fast Amazon shipping)! And the darkest shade is too dark for me and very warm. I kind of made it work by setting with a powder that is too cool for me.. haha! If I end up liking the formula I will order the middle shade. The deepest shade 27 I would say is around like a MAC NW30 where I am more like NC25, or light neutral in Tarte & It Cosmetics.

I'm NW10 and shade 21 works for me. I thought it would be too dark as I usually wear shade 13 in Kbeauty base products and it looked dark coming out of the tube but it works after I blended it out. The gray undertone will work for cool undertones as it color corrects facial redness but probably won't work for warm or olive undertones.

@@Cara-39 I am very pale. I tried shades 21 and 23, separately and together. They both leave a horrible gray/white cast. On top of that, it completely dehydrated my skin. Complete fail for me unfortunately.

Your skin is looking so fresh and dewy... before the BB! I’m so happy the new version is just as beautiful as the snail version. I love snail mucin but, I know it makes some people squeamish... I used to be the same way until I saw what it did for Jaime French’s skin! I got over it real quick, and ordered some that day lol:) As always, thanks for trying all the things🖤

@@goow I totally admit that when I first heard the term “slugging”, I was sooo relieved to find out it didn’t involve slugs!! I actually just ordered a big tube of cerave healing ointment. I have a feeling it’s going to help my skin this winter! I live at almost 4000 feet elevation... it makes my already dry skin so much worse!

Happy Birthday 🎂🎁🎈. I also have ordered this since my beloved snail musin one is being discontinued. I agree that it is a little more dewy. Which is fine as I find my skin is a little dryer as I age. I do love this product as well. Thank goodness they didn’t leave us hanging and gave us a replacement.

I've used the missha perfect cover bb cream & I did like it but it rubs off which was annoying. Then again I didn't set it. Maybe this will last longer? I liked thr pump on the missha be over time the cap loosens.

Great video! I was just looking up the snail bb cream after watching Taylor Wynn’s latest video. Good to know it’s being discontinued, I much prefer Cica as an ingredient anyway! Going to order on Amazon! Under $10! I think it really is a dupe/replacement, looking at the ingredients compared to the snail bb they are pretty much identical! ✨ I love the Purito cica unscented serum as well.

I just got mine this week and I am impressed; I don't normally wear foundation on my forehead because it makes the dark abyss of my wrinkles look a hundred times worse; but this is flawless and didn't settle in my lines at all. So glad I saw your review on Purito or I would have never discovered this. I finally have a replacement for CYO! And the Cica is so good for my redness to; win win!

this is an update to my previous comment. I refused to give up on this and mixed in the only orange-ish liquid blush i had and it actually worked to tone down the ultra gray corpse-like color. i really like it now that the color matches!

This bb cream has the same herbal ingredient as the Cicatricure scar cream which is an open secret among my Hispanic friends here in Texas. Even though it’s supposed to be for scars it’s used as an all purpose skin cream. And it’s around $10 at any drugstore. Happy birthday and thanks for a great review!

I fell in love with the old version, snail clearing formula when I was ready to purchase more that's when I found out to my horror that it has been discontinued lol. Many of us were broken hearted when it was discontinued! They were a brand under the Boots umbrella (same makers as Soap & Glory and No7), but the equivalent Soap & Glory foundation also got discontinued! Very few foundations have that sort of beige-gray undertone and it matches me so well in the winter. :(

I was shocked because we call it as gotocola in the Philippines. We steam and drink or eat it to treat for antibacterial purposes like cough, dengue, or apply it on inflamed areas/wounds. I just recently know that all this time centella has been used by us as herbal medicine all through years. I tell you it is very easy to grow we have it on our little backyard and good for anti cancer also. Subscribed 💕

I just checked on my order for the snail and it is coming today! Yay! but it does say item no longer available on yes style. Good to know if I like it the new formula is great too. Hi Leah!! The fastest I ever got a YesStyle order was in 6 days. Longest, 2 weeks. I'd say most of the time it's a week to 10 days. It usually comes to me FedEx in Virginia.

Happy Birthday Shelly!! :-D Wow...that's a whole new trend in ingredient labels! Actually telling you the purpose of each one. Really smooth with good coverage and the shade is definitely leaning cool. Perfect winter shade perhaps? Love your eye look today! Those colors are right up my alley, which I probably mentioned in the other video when you used that palette. Old age, indeed! Lol! The BB cream looks to have worn very well over the course of the day with minimal loss of coverage.
