Purity Ring - Lofticries 

I wish Purity Ring did more dark trip-hop style songs like this one.

I live in Hawaii and about two years ago I met the father of the vocalist and we started talking about music and he mentioned his daughters band and I typically don't just check out bands because random people tell me too but in this situation I did and ill be honest, I'm glad I did lol. It's awesome to see you guys getting some exposure. So if you guys see this comment, thank your vocalists awesome dad for promoting you guys while he was on vacation in Hawaii.

I'm an absolute fan of duos bands like Purity Ring, Crystal Castles, The Knife, Phantogram, Royksopp, Daft Punk, they bring so much passion to the world of music

This video represents the epic feeling of dramatically changing environments while you're tripping (such as opening a door to another room)

I'll always remember sitting in the cold crowd, drenched in rain and waiting what seemed like forever the first night of Pitchfork 2012 for this band to start playing. A band I never heard of but will never forget. It was worth the wait. It was euphoria in a needle that I will never stop mainlining.

This is probably my favorite song ever. Maybe to some people, it’s a strange choice. However it’s certainly the only song I’ve never gotten even a little tired of after listening to it for years. I’m not exactly sure what makes it so special, I just know it is.

Purity Ring scares me a lot. And that is good.
