I have been waiting years to see Purity Ring live. I brought my sister and her boyfriend to the concert tonight without having heard a single song before this they loved it and danced the whole time. We had an amazing time. 💖

Okay first of all, Purity Ring always has a sound absolutely no one else can copy or possess. This track is NO exception. The intro and sample throughout is so genius. Also Megan saying the city is FUCKED? 😮 felt like I heard our musical pastor just curse for the first time and I’m here for it😂

I'm pretty confident any pop hip/hop artist could replicate this generic of an instrumental. "Pink lightning" is a purity ring sound nobody could copy or possess.

I’ve had so many conversations with people this week about this. Purity Ring has always been my top band and through the madness of two years I played their music over and over and over waiting for the day my concert tickets would be used. I would say “Better Off Alone” and it’s video became my mantra of survival. This beautiful song simply states that maybe it’s time to “Begin Again” - thank you Corin and Megan

Wow. This somehow reminds me of a memory I had with my husband. At the very beginning when we first were dating we randomly drove in the middle of the night to a donut shop 45 min away from his house and got donuts and hot chocolate and sat at the beach and smoked weed while we looked at each other can't believing that we found each other. Here we are like 5 years later with two kids and we're still so in love. This song somehow brings out that memory and makes me smile!!! ❤️ The power of a song to be able to do that is just amazing!

I'm getting Dntel vibes from this in a really cool way. From the CD-skipping-in-the-car sound to the drum beat that hits at the end, plus all the sweet and deep and cheeky lyrics in between. Feels like a nod to the mid 2000's in some ways, and really making something awesome and new from that sound. Love it so hard, can't wait to see them on stage again.

The fucking sadness and nostalgic thoughts i get from her songs just makes me wanna die. It hurts. They all either give me sadness from nostalgia or some form of retreat. Honestly, I prefer this song over the latest album. As a long time fan, I was disappointed in the melodies from “Womb”. I love how the melody holds and grows, and I haven’t heard them do a song like that since “Another Purity”. This song slams🤞
